Small batch denim which is made as well or better than any denim I've ever owned. If you're a "denim head" you'll appreciate the detail that goes into their products. From quality, Japanese denim, to lined back pockets, to leather pads in the rivets for ease of removing the rivets without damaging the denim if a repair is ever needed. BTW, FREE LIFETIME REPAIR on all their denim products! They'll gladly hem the jeans to change the inseam if you prefer something more custom for you. I drove over 90 minutes to visit the store and it was time well spent. (Glad my SO found the correct address and hours before I made the trip.) If you're into selvedge denim, I'd recommend giving Shockoe a try. I have no clue what tux/suit size my boy is so I eagerly accepted the offer of assistance. Charles came over, we told him what we needed, and he immediately picked out a tux jacket, pants, and dress shirt. My son stepped in to a fitting room to try everything on. The shirt and jacket fit perfectly and the pants needed a little bit of alteration. He also brought over a beautiful bowtie to match my son's date's dress. All dressed up, my son looked SO FINE. Charles really knows what he is doing! I couldn't believe he took one look at my boy, assessed him, and picked out the clothes in the right size at first glance! We opted to purchase the tux, shirt, tie, and belt. There is plenty of fabric to account for additional growth of my boy. Alterations were completed swiftly (much faster than I expected), and we could not be happier. We were also very impressed with the pricing. Everything was reasonable and high quality. This experience is one for the books. We received such excellent customer service and Good Luck had a huge selection. I was afraid I'd be overwhelmed when I walked in, but Charles took over and professionally guided us to the right decisions. I am trying to reach the…read morecorporate office with a complaint. I just got off the phone with the Regional/General Manager from K&G in Maryland. Nothing was resolved by the Regional/General Manager of the White Oak store. Just a bunch of hot blown air to the customer. He promised me something out of the store as a compensation for the hardship that I faced in his Richmond store and then when I asked him about it later he acted like he knew nothing. You, see, apparently he is not in Richmond but in Maryland. I see why the subordinate leadership in Richmond is just as bad as he is. K & G needs better leadership. I faced a very difficult time over the years dealing with the manager in the Richmond store. She is very rude and follows customers around the store and makes the shopping experience very uncomfortable. Because of this I have not been in the store lately because I am in fear of harassment. I hope that someone from the corporate office reaches out to me soon so I can fill you in on what was promised to me in compensation for the Richmond store management and employee behavior. I am truly dissatisfied to have been lied to by the Regional/General Manager. This review only shows a little bit of the problems with your Richmond store.
