I agree with other reviews, finding things at Burlington is a hit and miss endeavor. I've stopped in a couple of times, though it's not in my regular shopping rotation. I prefer Ross and TJ Maxx, which are similar concepts but more my style. If I look hard here I can find a few items of cute clothing at a fair price. It is a fairly big place with two floors. Upstairs I've shopped for my kids. I've bought perfume/cologne and designer candles here, even a few home items. It's hard to find anyone if you need help or have a question. Shoppers here often let their kids run around crazy. But it is definitely a big step up from thrift store. read more

Anytime I want to treat myself to some new clothes I always go here first. They usually have a really good clearance rack for clothing and they have great deals on bras as well. I got a really nice Aerie bra for like $5 and on the website this particular bra is over $30. Definitely go look at the clearance sections first because you may find what you're looking for over there for a fraction of the price. They also have some really good home decor towards the back of the store and even some pretty good unique snacks to try. I try to buy tennis shoes sometimes here, but they usually never have cute shoes in my giant foot size. Sometimes I do find a pair of shoes but that's usually on rare occasions because It seems like they stock the smaller size much more frequently. This is a good place to shop for Christmas or just gifts in general for people because of the good prices. You can find some decent name brands for a fraction of the price that you would buy in a department store. Some of my other favorite things to buy here are the sports bras and fitness wear. I can usually find some cute leggings and some really adorable patterns that I can't find other places for cheap. read more

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get more employees to work the register when the line is mile long. This store always has a line all the way out into the store. Why would we have to wait in line for an hour for one cashier to check everyone out when there are four other employees doing the NOT so time sensitive task of stocking, sorting, whatever? It doesn't make sense. Then you get to the register and not one time has the employee working been polite bc they are so pissed they are having to work the only open register OUT OF 8!!! Everyone is unhappy by the time they reach the register and then they deal with an employee with a rotten attitude. This is a great store, except for this problem and the employee's treatment of customers. read more

I've found some nice small electronic items here from time to time, and have bought several bottles of cologne here over the past twenty years. For the most part, though, this place (at least in the housewares section in the back, and in the costume jewelry department up front) looks as though several bombs have gone off in unison. Seriously, people -- keep it neat and clean no matter how lazy and trashy some of your customers may be. (Picking up after slovenly customers? I often stop in at Burlington just for the heck of it, and I'd never been to this location before. I really liked it! There were several sections (mainly shoes and beauty aids) that looked like a tornado had touched down recently, they were in such disarray. However, the clothing and housewares were in much better shape and easy to browse. My husband and I agreed that this older, two level Burlington had a lot more merchandise than most of their stores we visit regularly. We both found several items within a short time span. When we got to the front there was a long line and one cashier, but a supervisor remedied the situation very quickly and we were out in a flash. read more

I arrived at Burlington at 10:35PM, and doors were locked. I was able to enter thur the 1st dbl doors once a group of customers walked out. I stood in the hallway of the dbl doors while employees walked by and refused to allow me in the store. I called the store while I was in the hallway, and informed the Manager on duty I was in the hallway. She informed me the doors are locked at 10:30PM, although the web, and google states 11PM. I asked for the GM contact number, she placed me on hold for a while. Long enough for the phone to ring again, and a Cus Rep answered, once I informed her what I was waiting for she disconnected the call, called back and I was provided with contact numbers as 6093877780 and 8666046572, no working number and employee work number. I shop here weekly spending $200, a little under or over. I refuse to spend my money where I'm not wanted or valued as a customer. Web also needs to be updated as doors are locked at 10:30PM. I made a special trip from Edmond. Employees should take pride in their workplace, but I see they definitely don't here. read more

I had never actually been to a Burlington before, so I had no real expectations. In all honesty, I thought BCF only sold coats so I was quite surprised to see that it's basically a Ross department store. I wasn't looking for anything particular on my visit...I was just in the area and thought I'd stop in and take a look. Whilst walking around, I stopped to look at their of jeans and was not only happy to see they actually had jeans in my size, but that there was a nice selection of jeans. The prices weren't super cheap, but they were fair. And honestly... $25-$35 for a pair of jeans seems like a good deal to me. I didn't much care for their shoe selection, as it was primarily boots or dress shoes, both of which I have enough of. The staff seemed friendly enough and were very polite escorting patrons through the fitting rooms. Overall, BCF wasn't half bad and I'll be back just for their jean selection as I'm forever having trouble finding jeans in my size. read more

I don't know why I ever step foot in Burlington. I'd have better luck dumpster diving. Everything I was even somewhat interested in was damaged in someway. It'd be one thing for an item to be flawed and a good price, but thrift shops have items in better condition than this place AND better prices. read more

Burlington's is fairly hit or miss. Sometimes they have some really cute stuff and amazing deals and sometimes they do not have anything I would consider, regardless of the price. I rarely see an associate walking around anywhere in the women's dpt to help with anything and they do not have anyone to help you in the fitting rooms. The lines are usually about 4 ppl deep, they need more cashiers. The store is generally pretty clean and they have good prices usually. It just depends on your style to find something you may or may not like. Like I said, for me, it is fairly hit or miss. For a business woman, they have a great selection or business suits, dresses and skirts. I would shop there more often if I was a business woman. read more

I used to shop at Burlington Coat Factory all the time. But that's going to change now. Last week I went in to get some things and ended up spending over $200. At the checkout I noticed I was overcharged for some wine glasses. They charged me $20 but they were on sale for $7.99. I pointed out the mistake and they rung them up again . I pointed out that I was just charged for it again, and the cashier assured me that it would come off at the end. Upon arriving home I noticed that it had not been taken off my bill and I'd been charged an extra $20. I went back in today to have the mistake fixed. I took my receipt along and the card I used. The manager was very rude basically accusing me of trying to defraud the store. They insisted they had to look at the security footage to see if I was being truthful. They also said I needed to bring the wine glasses back in. That makes absolutely no sense. I waited a long time while they studied the receipt and the footage. Eventually I demanded my receipt and said I would take it up with corporate. I will never shop at Burlington store again if this is the way they treat their customers. read more

I've been going to this store for several years, and it's quite unpredictable. Some days it's clean and organized and other days it looks like a tornado hit it. Some days it's stocked to the brim full of savings and other days it looks empty. If you are wondering where the coats are - they are on the UPSTAIRS level. Just about everyone I have taken shopping there misses the fact that the COATS are upstairs..so I am wondering how many people actually miss the upstairs section entirely & wonder why it is called a coat factory. Burlington you need a big sign that says, "COATS ARE UPSTAIRS". Downstairs you find all kinds of great costume jewelry, men & women's fragrances, gadgets, gift items and clothing. It's quite assorted - extremely casual clothing to reasonably priced business clothing. You can find lots of crazy T-shirts and unique one of kinds. In the spring/summer I always find a couple of pair of nice flipflops for around $10. Dressing room is always crazy and poorly staffed. Good luck finding anyone to assist you. Travelers can also find some great luggage sets. This parking lot is very narrow and people drive way too fast through it, so park further away from the store, and be careful walking to the door.
