Was there this afternoon. 10 registers available and only 1 cashier working. I saw 2 managers just standing there. I left.

My 5 Stars goes to an employee in the cosmetic department by the name JESKY, she is unique. You…read morewon't missed her with the amazing blue color of her hair that goes so well with her carisma and cool personality. I was looking last year for "the perfect makeup" since there is so many this days to choose from. I went around to few stores in Miami Beach and end up here in Macy's. Again so many different cosmetics it gets overwhelming to me. I stop by one of the counters, Stee Lauder and Jesky was there. She is not like those sales person that comes right at you and makes you buy something, no. Jesky welcome me and said that if I need help she will be around. I like that I didn't feel someone chasing me around the whole counter, if you guys know what i'm taking about.. Another employee came and ask me questions, but i just said I was just looking. I decide to go to Jesky and ask her few questions. She gave me few options not just one, and she even ask me if I want it to try the make up. She try few and gave me samples to try 2 to take home. I did and went back like four weeks after and ask her for one more sample of the one I thought it was the perfect shade. Now I went back after few more weeks and guess what? I bought the actual product that she told me from the begging that suits my skin color and my skin situation. What I really like and want to point is this: she was not a crazy sales employee that was just trying to make me buy things that I wasn't going to be happy with. Second, she was calm and confident that by giving me the sample I will try them and for sure that I will go back to her to finally purchase it. This is the way a department store like Macy's should be. I know we all have to make the sale and make the money. But many times we don't even want to pass by this departments to avoid the craziness of the salesperson going around you in the counter and many times is more than one, it's a whole crew chasing you like zombies. I strongly recommend you to come and ask for Jesky at the makeup department. Jesky, will take good care of you with no rush or hassle. Trust me she is very cool and can help you with any makeup purchase you need. Jesky, if you get to read my review, I want to thank you for all you patient and help. Liz

There are usually bigger in size, and are multi-story. They often have different, higher-end designer brands. The Marshalls in downtown Miami Beach is like the former, located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the same building as the Lincoln Dining Hall. It has very tall ceilings with a lot of natural light, creating a nice environment to browse. This store had plenty of inventory, and the clearance sections weren't too picked over when we stopped by on a Friday night. There are escalators and elevators to take you from floor to floor, though the down escalator from 3rd to 2nd was blocked off (forcing you to take the elevator down, which doesn't seem very efficient and an obvious fire hazard in case of emergency). The large space could easily absorb a lot more shoppers than there were, but the checkout queues wasn't very efficient (at one point, the line got more than 7 shoppers deep and took a while to checkout). A good place to stop by to pick up some clothes for your vacation if in the Miami Beach Area.

Unfortunately, the escalator between the two floors wasn't working during my visit, so you'll need to use the stairs or elevator if you're shopping upstairs. I really liked how organized the store was. Everything was clearly labeled, making it easy to find what I was looking for. At first, I thought this was the first Ross I'd ever visited that didn't sell hairbrushes. I later realized they do carry them, they're just located near the checkout instead of with the beauty items, which is why I initially missed them. If I'm in the area, I'd shop here again.

I've been a total Rss lover since the day I came here from my county, fluent in English, Spanish and Tagalog with Mexipino kids. I can tell you this is effectively not a good place to go. Gave them three trips out here and two of those trips years apart has shown me this location is biased in the worst ways til they realize you speak Spanish. Shop elsewhere bc as a mom to mexipino kids, I can't possibly choose a store that supports reverse racism against half of my kids' culture.

I've been coming here since the days when Howard Austin Feld had his shop here, when you could still park on the street and the crowd felt more local than curated. Back then, it was quirky galleries, mom-and-pop shops, and artists setting up easels by the fountains. History matters here. Originally designed in the 1910s by Carl Fisher (the same guy who basically invented Miami Beach), it was later reimagined in the 1950s by Morris Lapidus, the legendary architect behind the Fontainebleau. He turned Lincoln Road into a pedestrian mall--a radical idea at the time--that gave Miami Beach its own open-air Broadway. For decades, it was where retirees fed pigeons, musicians played for tips, and snowbirds people-watched under the palms. Today? It's glossier. Trendy flagship stores, outdoor cafés charging $9 for a latte, and enough selfie sticks to arm a small militia. The pigeons have been replaced by pickup artists--guys working the crowd like it's spring break year-round, angling for phone numbers from beautiful women in sundresses. Depending on your vibe, it's either comedy gold or background noise. But here's the truth: Lincoln Road is still Lincoln Road. The fountains still splash, the architecture still hums with mid-century glamour, and the people-watching is world-class. From models strutting past with shopping bags to a family of tourists melting under the Miami sun, this strip remains Miami Beach's beating heart.

Great mix of high end stores and regular boutique stores to cater to every person.
