I purchased the dress and saw that the confirmation said Final Sale, but then said $25 return .well which is it? I received the dress and it was beautiful but not a good fit. I went to return based on the confirmation I received but the computer said "Not Returnable" I called corporate and they told me sorry they are strict with returns, even though I sent them a photo saying there was a $25 return free. They then said they would have to get the issues fixed with their computer division, so they agreed this was a real confusion. I actually helped them by letting them know they needed to fix two issues. They still refused my return. The dress is in perfect condition. I found this whole interaction very one sided. It is absolutely clear they don't understand the value of a customer. Customer Service is definitely an issue with Dillards. They should have taken into consideration their mistakes and offered me a return. After all this I noticed the dress was extremely long. The description reads approx 62" but in reality it is 67" Dillards has an excuse which is one sided. The customer service department does not understand that they need to give in when there are errors. They will not admit to any fault. For this reason they lose my business and no doubt others. Approximate does not mean 5 inches! Epic fail Dillards.

The "new" dress I received has multiple damaged areas and we do not have time to go dress shopping for a 3rd time before prom. The best they would do is give a 20% discount ($69) back to a gift card since that was my form of payment even though I still have the original receipt. Disgraceful. Be aware that they resale damaged items!

One man who kept leaving his station while on register and the other slow as molasses. The door lady watched while it took cashier at least 10 seconds to check one customer out and proceeded to hold them hostage at door just 4 feet away while she ransacked their bags. Laziest bunch of retail workers - go to Walmart who seems to value this behavior as well. Won't be back to this one again. I wanted one lipstick I knew Target or any of those carried. I have no idea where stores are in LIttle Rock, and was pleased to find this one. I went to the cosmetics, and they were in such disarray. It was awful. creams and foundation scattered everywhere, empty shelves...dirty jars. On the Loreal display, there was liquid days old, dried on the tester. Yuck. Don't they clean their makeup aisle? They did have the lipstick I wanted. That's a plus. I went to the food aisles and it was pretty decent. I bought a couple of things I wanted. I have a microwave and refrigerator. here in this hotel. I think the only thing that might be clean is the grocery department. I noticed dirt even on the floor. Don't they ever clean this store? I was watching Ellen on t.v. the other day, and her makeup artist looked dirrectly at me (well, not AT me, but it might as well had been), and said, "You need a simple black dress. Every woman has a simple black dress." Ellen said, "Not me," and I don't have one either. So, I was at Belk, looking for Alegria Shoes, which they carry, in the style I want, and there it was....the simple black dress. It's perfect. It's around $48, and simple. I need to be completely packed to go on the plane, to see my extra clothing space, before I buy anything. I really went to Belk for the Alegria shoes, (the peace sign shoes) and more pants, like I found at the last Belk. Considering Belk has high quality clothing, more like Dillards, but bright, and less stuck up, than I feel at Dillard's. Clothing isn't always low price, but the clearance racks seem plentiful. In this particular Belk, I found ample help, on a Saturday morning. The employees aren't pushy, but are kind and helpful. Belk also sells Estee Lauder/Lancome, etc....and handbags (I always have to look, but Coach handbags are a bit over priced. But sometimes they can be found on the clearance...) Ka Ching Ka ching ka ching. I'm going back Friday, after I pack for the plane, cause there's a couple of dozens of items that caught my eye.

I have become good friends with her and others who work there. I would trust her with my life. To some extent I have been trusting Sue and the whole Company with my most valuable possessions for more than a decade. Every year I do BIG business with them. Sue is very good at what she does. She also has made time to get to know me and my family and we all consider her a friend of the family. She actually has been there for me when I was in tough situations and I have been able to ask for large sums of money. I have found that our business has become a yearly method for my company's and my family's growth. This year I was in a position where I didn't need to borrow, but I figured I might as well use the good credit I have built with Sue to continue to grow my business and provide whatever my family might need. I bought and paid for a Gibson Guitar that this company listed on ebay. While I was waiting for my…read moreshipping details I suddenly received a refund. Without contacting me first which is not the way business is done. I was told there was a mistake and the item had been sold in store. I have no way of knowing if they made a mistake or this was an error but I asked if perhaps they could give me a deal on another Gibson Guitar. I was told that they have 8 stores and they cannot make deals on other stores merchandise. So they screwed up and would not honor the sale or sell me a replacement. I would not buy from this establishment's stores at any price. STAY AWAY!!!!
