The experience at this location is horrible. The location has 14 registers but only 3 people working the registers. This resulted in a long wait on line. I was on line from 5:34PM until I reached the register at 6:27PM. Waited for basically an hour. If I weren't so desperate for the items needed, I would've walked out. It makes no sense for such a large store to be so short on staff. If I could give zero stars I would. read more

If Burlington ever goes out of business, I will be a barefoot lady. I do the majority of my shoe shopping here because the prices are just unbeatable, and I find such gems that would've been five times the price elsewhere. The service is actually atrocious: you can feel the workers' misery with every interaction, which is why I mention going out of business, because they may be treating their employees poorly. But my goodness, every time I visit, I leave with my new favorite shoes for the year. I casually dropped by today and left with seven (7!) pairs of shoes all coming out to $150. I got a variety of shoes, including rain boots, sandals, and wedges, including some cool brands. I also saw some hot purses and backpacks for no more than $30 - what a steal - but I had to restrain myself. The store is pretty clean and organized, but at times, they run out of my size (6), so that gets annoying. They also have bathrooms. I can't wait to treat myself again here! read more

Came in looking for mens suits, went to 2nd floor near the back and found 3 empty racks. The few suits i saw, all were missing pants and the ones that had pants, the pants did not match. Sadly walked out, shouldn't even have a sign that says they sell suits. I even asked when i walked in if they had suits and the greeter at the door confirmed mens suits are on the 2nd floor. I still stand by always being able to find what i am looking for here. Yet , the long lines and people that cut the line and are very confrontational and very rude , is the vey reason im updating my review . I was called a " Karen " the other day . Simply by standing my ground to a bully who felt the need to remind me she was also on the line - in front of me - meanwhile i had not seen her at all ! She brought up race - how she was a tall black woman . How could i not see her- SMH . I definitely did not see her , but oh boyyy did i smell her - once she cut in front of me ! Yuck ! Bought a cheap tuxedo here a number of years ago that has served me well, so I figured I'd try them again today for a new suit. Unfortunately, the suit jackets, vests and pants are sold separately, which makes it hard to find the same designer. Also, I'm big and tall, so that added another layer frustration. Found a jacket that fit me well, but it was missing a button. Found another jacket that fit well, but it was creased. A third jacket that may have fit looked like it was used to dust the floor. Very bad customer service. I will be calling corporate soon. I asked to use the bathroom and this lady told me to go upstairs to ask for the code. I go upstairs and they tell me to go downstairs to ask someone on the front cashier.I really don't understand ? Why can't someone go up there with me? Why was I told to go all around the store. Today's visit justified my reason to review the place. I'd been here multiple times (as the closest fashion store from my house) and had checked- in thrice but never review it. I may perhaps want to give them chance to improve their customer service Looks like it is not happening. THE LINE is INSANELY LONG every time I come and today is no exception. The WAITING TIME is CRAZY LONG that made me think that the management doesn't care at all. If not for its marvelous selections and pricings- no way people will keep shopping at this place. I keep telling myself to stay away but I keep coming back. The merchandise stockings are a mess, the fitting room is full of unwanted items and the cashiering system is a disappointment. If you could find a place better than this place but has pretty good deals as well, go there instead. BTW, I'd been to their Westbury branch so many times, it is not as bad as this place. I don't know her name but, she should be nominated for "employee of the month!" I was having less than a stellar day, (Halloween in fact) it was wet, rainy, and hot as hell. I went to Burlington to pick up a gift for someone, and man it was hot inside. Uber hot, deal with the devil hot, hot enough to cost you a star hot! Anyway I was shopping, and sweating and I found that perfect gift, just in the right size. Then I walked up to the second floor, yeah the escalator up wasn't working. Did I mention how hot it was in side Burlington? I get upstairs, I'm hot, profusely sweating and I have to use the restroom. No problem, once upon a time I used to work in this building under another company. So I know where I'm going, I know exactly where that is. As I alluded to earlier, I found that perfect gift. And I wasn't just about to sit it down so someone could snatch it while I went in the restroom. I also know one is not supposed to bring merchandise yet to be paid for in the restroom, but did I care??? Not especially, cause I was hot. Here's where that lovely employee who works in men's suits was kind enough to hold on to my item and take away some of that stress. I appreciated that! I was looking for some help right then and there, and she didn't disappoint. Took care of all that restroom stuff, calmed down a bit, wiped the sweat off my brow and went on to continue my shopping after retrieving my gift from this employee. About 8 minutes later after trying on a coat I realized that one of the cufflink I was wearing was no longer there. And I wear pretty sophisticated cufflinks ($), I immediately retraced my steps back to this employee. And now had more things that needed to be looked over as I retraced my steps back to the bathroom. Long story short, I never did find my cufflink! But just having that employee to watch over these things I went on to purchase during all this chaos I was enduring was totally appreciated. I went on to wait on that fairly decent length line downstairs where all us customers would go on to complain among each other about exactly how hot the temperature in the store was! read more

This location is better than most and the only BCF I visit. The inventory on coats is great. When they mark down items for Clearance the prices are astonishing!!! I bought a Gown for $25.00. A pair of Juicy Couture Sunglasses for $30. I found real leather pair of Arturo Chiang riding boots on clearance ! If you have time to dig and find bargains this can be a 1 stop shop. Like Marshalls you will be surprised at what you can score here. Their Baby Depot is excellent also for car seats and cribs. Good sale prices and you should check most baby magazines for the 15% off coupon. The inventory for the shoe dept has been lacking lately. This store used to be so much more organized had a lot more cashiers and sales reps. As of recent it has become a disaster to shop here! Put aside the clothes tossed all over the floor and the messy bathroom, the cashier line is insane even on a regular day with only 2 cashiers present. Yesterday a fight almost broke out in there because of customers frustration and the manager gives no satisfaction since she stated that she is not in charge of staffing the store and it's out of her hand. I like this burlington coat factory. The staff is nice and they have nice merchandise. The only problem is the line to purchase your items are really slow. They need to have more staff working. The shoe selection is good which is a plus because they have great prices. They also have nice gift sets for the holidays which is good because sometimes its hard to find gift sets for affordable prices. There is ample parking and the store is big with a lot of merchandise. I can usually find whatever I need at Burlington and get it for a good price. However, it can take a lot of time since items are sometimes are mislabeled with the wrong sizes. I also have found that I have to check closely that the item doesn't have a defect. read more

Each time I step into this store I say I will never come back and I continue to come back. I am messed up. I just filled out the BCF survey and gave the whole experience to a robot computer that will collect the data and do absolutely nothing about this awful store, so anyway my experience was this......UGH UGH UGH. When you walk in there seems to be two security guards talking up a storm and some sort of sign saying bags might be inspected. Ok, these guys were two busy talking like two girls looking at facebook and were totally unconcerned about what was going on around them. There is a huge jewelry area to the left when you walk in the door and then the purses come after the jewelry. Jewelry is all over the place and when I say place I mean floor or scattered about mishmashed here and there and everywhere. Either there is not enough staff to clean up, or this place is continually shopped by customers who were raised by wild animals. There has been a remodel in this store since the last time that I shopped here so my thoughts were it would be a bit nicer. Not so much. Again, I think this has to do with lack of personnel who actually care about their jobs and the hoards of people who were raised by the wild animals. I visited the clothing area to look for a few new tops since according to "G', I need to add some color to my wardrobe. Some of the clothing was ok, some was clearly damaged. I selected a few items and headed to the fitting room. The employees in there were gossiping about other employees and eating food. They just said for me to find an open room. I guess its self serve/we don't care if you steal it mode in this place. So I found the open room and ended up with one $12.00 non-colorful sweater. I headed off to the register. During my leisurely stroll down the aisle I noticed what seemed to be a line coming from in front of the register, wrapping around the area of cookies and headphones, aka, the impulse area before the register and then around the outside of that area infront of perfumes. What the hell, are they giving stuff away? When I saw the line my first thought was forget this $12,00 sweater, its not worth it, but for some reason I just got in line and waited and watched the snail pace of these cashiers. They looked so happy to be doing their jobs. They were barely grunting at the customers. One customer had to come back three times to get the security tags off of her just purchased clothes. It as finally my turn at the register and pretty much not a word from the cashier. She rang up my one item and then told me when to swipe my credit card. I said thank you and she gave me my bag and off I went. As I looked back I saw the line was as long as when I started my journey of the line. The only good thing about the visit was the temperature in the building. It was good, not too hot, but other than that.....stay away, stay far away. I've been going to this location for 4 years to buy jackets & clothes. However; today I went there to buy a set of jeans, and while going to the fitting room, I noticed that there several pins stuck down on the carpet floor; and felt uncomfortable trying on a set of jeans. When I complained to an employee; the employee told me that management has known about this, but refuses to do anything about it. When I found the manager, I addressed the issue, but she pretended to act surprised & stormed away claiming that she was going to take a look. This situation is unsanitary; I don't know whose been in these fitting rooms or may have stepped on those needles; and whether or not they may be contagious or not. read more

I've been to this burlington a few times and most times it has been messy and disorganized. However, my most recent visit was a total surprise. The store was clean and there seemed to be some organization. I was looking for a dress for a coworkers wedding and found one quick. They had a huge clearance rack that seemed to be organized as well. I browsed the home area and scarce shoe area but nothing caught my eye. I did have a repeat encounter with some young guy who conversed with me about items I liked in the sotre,. I knew he had to be undercover security because I saw his ass everywhere. It didnt bother me because the store was fairly empty and I was just happy how quickly I found my dress that looked very cute on me. This has to be the worst burlington store nation wide. 1) the cashiers are super slow and unorganized. Lady at the register couldn't take off the alarm tags on the pair of shoes I attempted to buy and she was asking this fellow cashier dude for help. He literally threw a F bomb and asked another lady that he's going on a break for 10 minutes... now the lines were super long with only 3 cashiers on duty, and the lady just nodded her head and just simply sighed. This is NOT acceptable!!!! 40 minutes waiting on line and now the lady doesn't kbow how to take alarm tag off and she looked ridiculiusly flustered. just walked out without making any purchase 2) broken Christmas ornaments and toys all over the floor and nobody around were cleaning up. I felt like I was shopping at a thrift store. Unbelievable how messy the store is. Every items were all over the place. 3) where on earth are the floor helpers? Couldn't find ONE single helper on the floor. My son needed to use the bathroom and that's where I saw 6 guys on phone playing games and laughing with each other... NUFF SAID.
