We went on a Saturday in search of some kitchen plates. We ended up with more than that, of course, but we found what she was looking for at a great price. We also got a wooden cutting board at a fantastic price. We would have bought even more but I insisted that we leave and do our other errands. My goodness, we could have spent hours in there. At least the wife recognizes her problem when she says "I could shop here all day." The check out line was long as usual but moved quickly and the cashier was friendly. There is no doubt that we will be back.

The skincare section is a lack thereof compared to TJ Maxx but they had a few hidden gems. I did see a lot of hair goods offered for the low even hairsprays that I recently bought for $30 but here for $10. Ofc I go and peruse the kitchen and candle section. I was able to find stackable drawer bins that were pretty deep and $20 each. The Christmas candles were out so enjoyed sniffing and picking up a few goods. My one critique is I wish this store location was more aesthetically pleasing, consistently stocked and organized. The aisles are also prone to people breaking stuff because everything is so close together.

From diverse dining, entertainment and cocktail experiences, to markets, boutiques, spas, coffee shops, financial institutions and so much more; pretty much anything you're looking for you can probably find at Casa Linda Plaza, the oldest shopping center in Dallas (WWll Era.) It's quite normal to find people who live near by arriving on foot, and people who drove across town to enjoy one of the many wonderful businesses at the crossroads of Buckner Blvd and Garland Rd. If you're just in the area or enjoying White Rock Lake, make sure you visit Casa Linda Plaza; I'm sure you'll stay awhile. XOXO LORENZO!

Also, there's the PetSmart that has a great place to bathe your dog shot for food. The employees there are incredible and then last, but not least is Villa Nails I have to have pedicures because I can't get to my feet and my toes are destroyed after years and years of playing soccer and they do a wonderful job! Especially like Jenny who's my person that does my toenails and it is a fantastic experience. She does so well I'm taking care of me with a smile and we laugh and have fun.!

BUT 5 stars for the Amazon return station they just implemented. You start the return process on Amazon and they will have you print out a receipt thingy to take with you to Khol's. Walk up to the Amazon counter in the front of the store. They scan the receipt, take your product (you do not have to box it) and you are on your way. I swear for us it was like a 45 second process. Nice part is we also got a coupon to use at Khol's later on.

We had some Kohl's cash to spend after last week's shopping trip to 2 different Kohl's. It's sad…read morethat they strategically time their sales to not be running when they know customers are going to be redeeming their Kohl's cash. It pains me to pay full price. Especially since I know it will be 20-40% off in a few days. Oh well, such is life. I try and think of it as free money to spend, even though I know deep down that I spent a lot to get that Kohl's cash. I had never shopped at this location before. After going to 2 different locations last week looking for dress shirts and ties for hubby, we wanted to seek out a new location. First, I had a really hard time finding the dressing room to try on a few things. They need better signage so you can find it! Then, half of the dressing rooms were closed off! What could prompt a plain room to be "out of order"? It's not like there are plumbing issues. I also recommend that they install more hooks inside the dressing rooms. I like to hang things that I plan to buy on one hook and things I'm not buying on another hook. That's in addition to the initial hook I used when I arrived. That way, it's easy to exit and put the items in the correct place. I've even been to some stores that have fun with it by placing a sign by the hook - "coming home with me", "didn't work", etc. There didn't seem to be as much stock as the other stores I had been to recently. Hubby found a pair of tennis shoes and I found a Croft & Barrow sleeveless top. I usually have to do an alteration to the arm hole openings because they make them so huge. I tried on the top inside out so I could see if I could alter it. I could and I did. I still had to pay on top of the Kohl's cash since the two items were full price.

This Target has an excellent selection of basically everything you could need: toys, a grocery section, personal grooming, clothes, household goods and small appliances, shoes, TV and other audio equipment, sporting goods, etc. You name it, they probably have it. The aisles are wide and easy to navigate. Target is renowned for its low prices and I would generally agree although prices have gone up in the past few years. I guess that is generally true now that the government has decided to place an additional tax on goods in the form of tariffs. There is plenty of parking. The one complaint is that it is virtually impossible to find an employee on the floor if you need assistance. They have added a self-check out in recent years, which is good because the lines typically move very slowly. It's a busy store with lots of customers. Overall, it's a pleasant shopping experience.

However, after the holiday experiences I've had picking up groceries I am completely done with Target. I had multiple expired items in my last pick up. Milk that was two weeks out of date. Ice cream that expired in October 2025. Three months! I had an order on Dec 13 that is still just "pending" (wrapping paper ha!). The main problem is that there is NO ONE you can contact. We tried repeatedly calling the store when our pick up was over 12 hours late and every time someone answered they hung up on us. I couldn't even get someone on the 1-800 customer service number. I am done. Wal-mart, Sprouts, Whole Foods --anything is better than Target. I've spent my last dime there.
