A glorified garage sale. It's been open for only a few weeks and the store is a mess. Long lines and no urgency to check customers out.

I like this store...they just opened this location and no, I LOVE this store! Not since DDs…read moreDiscounts have I been in love with a store. They have shirts as low as 1.00 and I didn't see anything over 25.00. They had cute dresses, jeans, shoes, and cute costume jewelry all for reasonable prices. Men folk aren't left out either...they all kinds of jeans, shirts, jackets also! It's a big store but not so big you can't find something for everyone. However, the larger sizes go quickly but they get new stuff in all the time so check back often. I say we can never have too many cool stores to shop in and add this one to the list!

If i could do no star i would. I purchased a pair of jeans from the Southwest Center Mall location…read more& they ripped the same day. I took them back & was told that they would not do anything about it. You could clearly see that the damage to the jeans were caused by poor quality & not from a snag. I was then told to contact corporate which i did & no one ever answers or returns your calls. This is unacceptable i work hard for my money & would appreciate if i could spend it on a quality product at a store that will honor its return policy on a faulty product. You decided it was ok to keep my hard earned money after selling me a cheap made product so im going to take your money by leaveing a bad review on every site that you are associated with.

This felt like the Portland of Dallas…read more Since everyone else is going to talk about the funky, eclectic, communal and hippie vibe, and the 60 independent businesses, I will mention some history: 1. The neighborhood was nicknamed "The Devil's Back Porch" back in the 1920s. I hope that was not a reference to his butt. 2. This was one of the busiest streetcar stops in all of Dallas in the 1930s, which is the reason the shops are close together. 3. The restaurant Paradiso is L shaped because it was built around century-old trees. 4. Bonnie (of Bonnie and Clyde) worked as a waitress in this area before her crime spree began. Rumor has it she needed money to afford the $8 slices of pie at Emporium Pies. Only three things sucked: 1) Parking is difficult on weekends. 2) Cops are everywhere, so don't jaywalk. 3) The people with clipboards asking you to donate to blue whale abortions or whatever are aggressive.

My friend and I came here for the Bishop Arts Bazaar which was a lot of fun on a toasty fall day…read more They have retail parking available that's less than three minutes away walking distance. There was live music, food trucks and plenty of vendors. They had a couple of older model cars on display which was cool. When we entered the bazaar there was a lady there to welcome us to the event which was nice. I enjoyed a refreshing drink at a food truck and got street style tacos from another vendor. The live music was upbeat and complimented the event. We were able to walk around and explore a majority of the vendors. I ended up buying a couple of things from the vendor. The bishop arts bazaar occurs in the fall once a month on Sunday. Attending the bazaar was a lovely way to spend the Sunday afternoon.
