Been here quite a few times for oil changes and every time their customer service has been great however there was one time I went for an oil change and a worker made two Uh oh's they accidentally broke my plastic shift knob, and also told me they were replacing my drain plug with a "butterfly plug" and I guess they only finger tightened it forgot to put a wrench on it afterwards and on my home(Fort Worth ) it loosened and mostly drained my oil pan causing severe engine damage that's the only bad experience I've had but unfortunately it was kind of a big one and they only offered a free oil change instead of helping financially read more

Did my inspection and it passed but the lady decided to talk to me like a child and try to explain that this could happen or that could happen and blah blah blah. Everything she pointed out has been that way for about 6 years and none of the doom and gloom she was talking about has happened and none of the other inspection stations even said a word. Keep looking for another place. While there they tried to get someone else to change out their oil drain plug stating it was supposed to be changed out every other oil change. Neither of us ever heard that and neither of us ever had the Ford dealer come out and ask us if we wanted to pay for it to be replaced. read more

Ive been here before for a state inspection but today I came in for an oil change. The service cost was fair and they were done in no time. Their is a QT next door if you need to pick up a snack but the shop itself is nice enough to offer some water or soda cans if you get thirsty. The guy in the front desk was very nice and had a good sense of humor. The only downside is the mileage sticker they provided. The sticker literally fell off as soon as I got home, I hope they get something better in the near future. Besides that, it was a good experience. read more

Used to love coming here until they did me wrong. A little over a year ago I brought my Durango in for an oil change. Everything was good and went as expected. Unfortunately they severely overtightened my drain plug, which who would know until you try to get oil changed again. The next time I got my oil changed it was at a Take 5. At Take 5, you stay in your car the whole time while they work on it. After I pulled in and they started working, the guy in the pit immediately said "we've got a problem with the drain plug. Its been overtightened and I dont want to touch it because its on a plastic oil pan." At this point they advised they could suck the oil out of the top and put a new filter on and even told me not to bring it back next time and to take it back to where the oil change was done last so they could fix it. I said to go ahead with the oil change. Today I go back to Burleson Lube Center since they were the ones that touched the plug last. Acting manager came and asked me who did the oil change last and I explained to him the whole situation. He called the owner and now the owner doesn't want to pay for damages because he says "how do we know the last place didnt try to take it off and damage it?". They also brough my mileage into the conversation. Mileage means absolutely nothing when it comes to who damaged someone elses property. Unfortunately it looks like were going to have to go to small claims court. read more

I asked the mechanic at Burleson Lube. If I bought the OEM parts, how much it would cost me to have Burleson Lube replace the plugs, boots, serpentine belt plus tensioner, and an 02 sensor on my Explorer 3.5 Ecoboost. When I picked up my Explorer, the mechanic gave me a plastic bag with the old parts that he had replaced. I was ecstatic at the mechanic's honesty. The total labor cost from Burleson Lube was $570.00. Autonation Ford in Burleson quoted me almost $2K for this work minus the 02 sensors and tensioner. I bought my Ford Explorer from Autonation Ford in Burleson, but I caught them replacing OEM parts with after market parts and breaking my glove box. read more

Took my truck in for my yearly inspection and been coming here for years and they failed it for the tint on the windows that has never been a problem before. Took it somewhere else and it passed and the window tint was way under the maximum limit. Tried going back and asking for a second check on the window tint and it was 6 pts different from the first time that they inspected it and wouldn't give me a refund for having to go somewhere else and get it passed. If I would have pulled my tint off due to their error I would have really been mad. Don't how their tint meter differs from Wednesday at 23 to a 29 on Friday. Very dissatisfied and won't be bringing my truck back here ever again. Definitely not the kind of service that I expected. read more

Went in for a routine oil change took about an hour to do there was 1 other person and I arrived before I was told my air filter needed changed but I politely declined as I'm inside getting ready to pay the man was extremely rude and I was overcharged for an oil change I could have gotten anywhere else this isn't the first time this particular employee has been absolutely horrible I am no longer coming to this buisness and I will advise nobody else does More problems later coming in up there to get refund this is a joke read more

They got my car in and out pretty quick and have drinks and coffee in the waiting area. But they also have a political campaign poster and a sign encouraging people to tip the staff. Call me old fashioned, but I don't think the oil change place should be telling people how to vote or trying to make us feel guilty about them underpaying their staff. read more

This is the best oil change and mechanic service in Burleson. Scott did a great job! I had him do transmission flush, radiator and collant flush, power steering flush, and a tune up with new plugs. Can I just say, this place was a God send and I'm not even sure that I believe in God. My car had started making this weird flapping noise when I went over 60 mph. I had just recently had an oil change somewhere else. The research that I had done online told me that it was possibly a loose skid plate. I decided that I'd wait I until I got back to New Braunfels to have it checked out. I was driving from Roanoke to New Braunfels with my two nephews and the noise was making me crazy. I just decided to pull off at the very next exit and find the first oil change place that I could. We pulled up and Daniel greeted us. My nephew pointed out his rad Deathly Hallows tattoo. Since we're all Potterheads, we knew we were in the right place. These guys took a look and fixed the problem and had me back on the road in less than 10 minutes, free of charge. I have been using BLC for over 10 years. I get oil changes, annual inspections and auto repairs. I have no problems with Harold repairing my car. He is friendly and takes time to explain what needs to be done. I do have a problem with the counter service. Up until a year ago, there was always someone at the counter to help. For the past several times that I have visited BLC, I have had to wait at the counter for up to 10 minutes to get someone to help then the time it takes to lube or do inspection. This last time, a customer said they would track down someone to come to the counter and that person did. I enjoy Harold the mechanic and his work but for oil changes and inspections I will begin to go some where else. read more

Gary the manager is great, but his staff are incompetent without him watching over them. I had 2 problems in less than 2 weeks both were in his absence. I own 5 vehicles (mine, wife's and 3 teenagers), but will never take a vehicle there again. First, I took my car in for an oil change. The next morning I had oil all over my garage floor. It turned out that the staff didn't put the seal back on correctly. Gary did fix the issue at no charge, but I had to take off work and now I have oil that will require cleaning by a professional. Second, my 16 year old son went into to get an estimate on a repair. The incompetent staff once again screwed up. They took his car and did an inspection and charged him for it. At no time did he ask for an inspection rather just wanted an inspection. I asked for a refund and was told I would have to call or come back when Gary was there. Again the staff are incompetent, and this time around were rude. Again, Gary is great but unless he is changing my oil I won't go here again. A business is only as good as the competency and attitude of its staff. read more

These people are so nice and friendly and helpful. Took my truck in for an inspection, but it didn't pass. The battery had been replaced and when the old one was disconnected, it wiped the computer out. So, I was asked to drive it for about 50 miles and then bring it back. I took it out on the road but the check engine light came on. Seems there is a misfire on Cylinder 3. Just left a message for Harold. I a so glad my buddy recommended this place to me. My car was overheated and I thought that it was beyond repair. After I had the tow guy bring my car to Burleson Lube Center, they were able to give me an honest diagnosis and it turns out they were able to replace some minor parts and my car was running perfectly. The repair was on time and the price was fair. They also do oil changes and car inspections. I highly recommend Burleson Lube Center. I called ahead of time to get prices and a time of when they weren't taking walk-ins anymore for a oil change. I was told 5:55pm because they close at 6pm today. Ok, I rushed up there, arrived at 5:45pm, they got me right in. Immediately they informed me that because of the type of car I have and because it's new, I have to have synthetic. Well, I was t expecting to pay $20 more, but if it needs it and requests it, then go for it. $67.25 it cost me. But I trusted these guys. I was in and out by 6pm. These guys don't mess around. All very sweet and took care of my car. I left, I get down the road and I noticed my oil light was on. I called them right quick, knowing they were now closed, and they asked me nicely to come back so they could take a look at it. It was all gravy, it just needed to be ran a little longer and it automatically turned off. Great guys!! Whenever I'm back in town and need an oil change, I will go back here! read more

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I felt like I was walked all over because I am a young woman. I brought my car in for an oil change and state inspection. My car failed the state inspection because of a knock sensor so I took it to my step dad, who is a master mechanic for Nissan, and he said nothing was wrong with it. So I took it back, without any work done to the car, and it passed. I also brought my own oil for the oil change and they still charged me $34 to change the oil. They also didn't close my door all the way when I went to get into it (it has been sitting there for at least 2 hours with the door open). One of the employees answered almost every question I had with "the guy who could of answered that question just left". When I went to complain to the owner about my experience at this place, one of the employees slammed my receipt on the counter in front of me so I would leave and stop complaining in front of other customers. read more
