They take the time to explain every procedure, not only to the patient but also to the parents, ensuring everyone understands the process and feels comfortable. Their professionalism, patience, and genuine commitment to helping their patients heal sets them apart. My grandchildren are all wrestlers or involved in other sports, and we've been to many therapy centers over the years. None have compared to the quality of care we've received here. I can't see there's computers there and I can't see anything who I'm talking to.... just had a knee replacement when you come in to sign in. I thought I was gonna get a clipboard with a form to complete for first time visit. There a little computer right next to the door exit I was terrified someone was gonna come rushing in while I'm standing in my walker and signing this form on the computer. They have it in a very bad spot! They said they were working on it two weeks later it's still there. It took me a while the first time because the sun's glaring in my eyes mind you it's a glass door. & a long window above the door I asked the manager Angie how long is this going to take for me to fill out this form, she said it shouldn't take that long. I said I'm not asking that I'm asking how long is it going to take? Give me minutes she told me as soon as I stop talking I should be done. She was just completely rude. I told I keep repeating myself and asking you what I can't hear with the noise, the music the people talking all right there she said take about 3- 5 minutes. I said that's what I was asking cause I'm trying to hurry before someone comes through that door. I don't want to get knocked over. Second time I went in. I stood there waiting after about two minutes she says are you waiting for me? I try to look at her, but I can't see like I said you can't see anyone from all the computers or whatever they have on that desk, I said oh yeah, there's no one else here she goes well I didn't know if you were on the phone or with somebody else I told her you are very sarcastic asking me if I'm waiting for someone...obviously yes I was waiting for her last time. I spoke when I first came in. She told me wait. She was on the phone. I didn't want to bother her cause she was typing something from what I seen. then she tells me I don't speak, but she can't help me. I just told her Wow you are very rude! Anyways, I go in go to the Therapist that is calling me. We're doing therapy on me while I'm laying down on my back on the therapy bed He tells me he's gonna put the therapy wedge pillow underneath my ankles leg so I raised my legs up and he just forced it in there real fast. I told her hold on we met. That's my bad knee. I just got replaced!! I told him take it easy you hurt my knee that gave me a sharp pain! Then I know they are with like two people at a time so they're trying to rush it so they switched me with another guy and I was doing my exercise and then when I was there, I couldn't do no more cause my knee hurt it far from that guy banging into it. I said I couldn't do any more while I was waiting. I seen him with another patient so I was waiting there for like five minutes. Thought he was done.

Based on bad reviews, I was scared to come to this office, but I have been blown away at how…read moreawesome Dr. Boykins and his staff are. I really don't understand these other low reviews. I'm a harsh no nonsense reviewer and I've given more bad reviews than good. I've been here 3 times and would give them 10 stars if I could. Doctor: Have seen about 5 different podiatrist in the past 5 years. By a mile, Dr. Boykins is the best. He genuinely cares for his patients and it shows in his outstanding bedside manner. He loves his job and taking care of people, unlike the other jerk Doctor that I went to in Moreno Valley. Dr. Boykins is very thorough in examining you and getting a full medical history and doesn't mind spending extra time with you to listen to you, which is something you hardly see in any other doctors these days. He's very calm, relaxed, and makes you feel he values your opinion and welcomes questions. Dr. Boykins is also a surgeon and it's a rarity to find the expertise and kindness in a doctor. Staff: Staff are personal, very polite, and treat you like family. After putting you in the office, they come in a little later and ask if you need anything like water, etc. It's like going to a health spa and being pampered. Also a rarity, they help you put your socks and shoes back on which was a complete shock. Other doctor's just walk out of the office and let you fend for yourself. When you call they answer the phone politely and call you back to get you an answer to your question. Appointment scheduling: No issues with appointment scheduling 30 days out and they found an available slot the week after 1st appointment to come back in for further diagnostic tests. To give you perspective, when you go to McDonald's, you spend 10 minutes to order and eat. When you go to a 5 star Michelin rated restaurant, you're going to spend an hour enjoying the best services. Since the doctor and staff spends extra time taking care of patients, sometimes appointment time runs later and get pushed back. I have 1 other doctor that does this also and it's because they spend extra time with the patient because they are really good doctor also. When you book your appointment, keep this in mind that you may be leaving later and plan accordingly. Parking: The office entrance is facing the charter school not the taco bell. In front of the entrance the parking is more busy there but there's no handicap spots in front of the door. You have to go to the south side of the building where there's plenty of handicap spots all congregated together for the whole building. Billing: They take anthem blue cross PPO and have had no issues with billing. I read other reviews that say that you have to put a deposit for appointments but in the three visits so far, never have been asked for money or to book an appointment. As always, things might change and I'll update the review if needed.

Gregg and his staff work tirelessly to understand your injury, limitations, and goals for recovery and work effectively to help you meet those goals. They clearly understand every patient is different and do not offer the common "one size fits all" philosophy of PT, and instead tailor a program suited to the needs and limitations of each and every patient. Patients range from young teenagers to octogenarians and everyone is treated respectfully and with equal importance. In getting to know patients, Gregg and his staff do an excellent job of incorporating humor into the recovery...afterall, "laughter is the best medicine." I have been to OPTI for treatment of several injuries, and each time Gregg and his staff have helped me achieve positive results. The staff provides individual attention to each and every patient, and even when not directly interacting with a patient, are always keeping a watchful eye to ensure assigned exercise are being performed correctly to avoid further injury. I have previously been to another PT business, and while it was helpful, the level of service, attentiveness, willingness to help reach my recovery goals, was not near as evident as the service provided at OPTI. Gregg also willingly provides input in helping you develop a maintenance program after you complete your PT prescription, to help limit future injury. I highly recommend OPTI to anyone in need of PT, and can say without hesitation, you will be receiving treatment from an excellent staff who takes a genuine interest in your ongoing improvement and recovery.

Gregg and his staff don't just give you exercises, they monitor progress, make sure they are being done properly, pay attention to how your body handles things, and are consistently adjusting your program to best work with your body. One of the other things that is a standout is the hands-on soft tissue work included with the therapy session. The quality of care and dedication from Gregg and his staff have been a true blessing.
