They never said what they charge for labor and my husband forgot to ask because the person that referred us we trust and charges a flat fee. So we thought this company was ok but a good business man would tell you before they started the job. The owner's son came with a helper but never said I would have to pay the helpers labor too, again a good business man would say something. Apparently they charge $85 an hour for the son and $50 for his helper. They stayed 5 hrs most of it trouble shooting the problem and again a good business man would have said something the first hour into the job. So this company charged me $625 dollars to fix two items that cost $42 dollars. OUTRAGEOUS!! I will never use them again and suggest you don't either!

- Estimate for replacement of home air conditioning system - - James Mense - 7/2/2019 - comment…read moreMy home air conditioning system went out, so I called B+D to see what needed to be done. He quickly told me I needed a whole new system and gave me an estimate of $4,000. This turned out to be $1,000 higher than another estimate from another firm. Next I got a bill from B+D for $120 for a service call and bid on replacement. When I called them, I was told the estimate on replacement is free, but the service call was $120. My question is, how could they give me an estimate of replacement costs WITHOUT COMING OUT TO CHECK OUT THE SYSTEM? This company's bid on aa replacement was not only 33% higher than their competition, but they WILL CHARGE YOU FOR AN ESTIMATE! BEWARE!!

They did come back the next day to re-clean at no charge, which I appreciated, but the final result still felt underwhelming for a move-out clean. I was also billed a higher hourly rate than originally quoted, which was only corrected after I pointed it out.
