Even being a little away from home, it was worth the drive to go and have their ice cream and food. Through the years we took our kids there. Today we took our kids and our grandkids there. The usual treat would be ice cream with fresh peanuts and dipped in chocolate. Every time would be a delight! Today would be the first time since COVID. We were all looking forward to get our treats. This time we would have dinner also. The food was good as usual. But the cost of the food was still $$$$. We'll time for ice cream. OMG.... What happened. The vanilla ice cream was just an ok. BUT the chocolate they dipped into was......eating wax. Hardly any chocolate taste. We never had that wax taste before. Even the peanuts put on it were different. It was horrible. It was so bad that it will be the last time we go. So sad to something really great to go downhill....,. The only way we would go back is for them to go back to the way it was.
