Service is always lackluster, but this was the final straw. I placed an online order and asked if it was ready when I walked in. I was told no. 10 minutes later I checked again, and they handed me one of the bags that was there when I walked in. No parking for customers, not even to pick up Togo food. This is a beach location and there is never any parking so don't waste your time. If you do find parking you will have to pay for parking because you are right at the beach. BurgerFi closed their lighthouse point location last week and stated the location has moved here. The location didn't move it closed down. This location has already been open for awhile now. So disappointing because now the only burger fis are by the beach like this with no parking for customers. read more

Out of Texas toast for the melts. Burnt fries and chicken fingers. Closed early due to lack of staff and out of food. Place is too expensive for Sonic quay food. Actually, Sonic would have been better. $60 for a family of four to eat burnt chicken fingers and one over cooked cheeseburger. Dining room table was sticky, but the floor was clean. I ordered online at 5:33, indicating a pick-up time of 6:30. When I drove to the location at about 6:20 and found no parking, I called and asked if someone would be able to run my burger out to me. The woman who answered the phone was very friendly and accommodating (definitely a positive moment in the experience). When I told her my order wouldn't be ready until 6:30 she told me, "Oh, it's actually ready now." She ran the order out to me and, as I pulled away, I opened the bag to grab a french fry. Cold. It was clear they had made my order at 5:33 and it had been sitting for an hour growing cold. I thought about going back, but because parking is an issue, I decided to just deal with it. When I got home I microwaved the fries but not the burger, since I had opted for the lettuce "bun". If I'm being honest, I was shocked at how small this 11-dollar hamburger was. It did not look anything like the photos online. The bottom line is that my expectation that BurgerFi would be an excellent, worth-the-money experience was not even close to being met by the actual experience. In retrospect, I wish I had returned immediately, dropped money for parking and asked for a refund. My $17.45 bill (plus five dollar tip for curbside delivery) was at least ten dollars more than the experience was realistically worth. I don't anticipate a response or a refund, but at least BF would redeem some level of respect if that happened. read more

Stopped going a few months ago after a terrible experience. I used to work next door and almost nightly ordered food from here. It always took awhile but I would always patiently wait and sometimes tip. However, the last time I went there I was extremely disrespected for no reason. I was walking to work that day, it was really hot and stopped in and asked for a water cup. The girl at the counter replied you have to be a customer for water- yet I wasn't a stranger. I told her I worked next door (and had my uniform) and I planned on getting food tonight- I just was dehydrated and had to work. She rolled her eyes and started laughing at me and then went on her phone. I left and heard some of the coworkers laughing too.... because I asked for water? This is right across from the beach and the perfect location for Pompano. The restaurant is clean, the staff is very nice and knowledgeable and the food is GREAT! They also serve beer, wine, custard and shakes which is PERFECT for hot summer days on the beach!! My husband said the burger was good, and that's mainly because it was topped with thick bacon slices. Otherwise this is not a place we'd return, unfortunately it was across the street from our hotel in Pompano Beach with very few other dining options. It's freezing inside and very noisy outside with hundreds of birds flying around and screaming, pretty spooky. Most customers were eating in the large wrap-around covered patio area, seemingly not bothered by the birds. We got our meal to go. The chicken sandwich was covered in a fried bland batter that slips off easily. Other than being "cafe free", as it is advertised it has no other positive attributes - it's tasteless, even with their honey mustard bbq sauce. Buns are thin and flimsy. Onion rings are greasy and bland. Fries are flaccid and mushy. Burgers are quite pricey for what you get, but $6.99 gets you a small order of fries and a drink. The one positive thing I'll have to say is that I never knew Diet Coke comes in so many different flavors - their retro-style soda machine offers 7 flavors, in addition to regular, including raspberry-flavored Diet Coke and ginger-lemon Diet Coke. I didn't know what I wanted to eat, but once I saw the delicious looking burgers on Yelp, I stopped by for a quick bit. It wasn't real busy and I got my food very quickly. The burger and onion rings were fresh and hot and the coffee/mocha shake was thick and cold. I wish I would've requested cheddar on burger rather than cheddar, but that is my fault. I attended the grand opening of this location and it was extremely good. I visited often and I always recommend this place to my friends. Last week I visited around 8:30pm. The workers were very friendly and efficient but my food order was prepared to go even though I told them I wanted to stay and dine in. I was surprised because I wanted to sit outside and the chairs in the patio area were already stacked up and place to the side like the place was ready to close. When I received my burger the taste was not the same. I notice the meat patty was smaller and not as juicy, my favorite burger had changed. The fries were also super dry and not good. I was very disappointed since my favorite burger was no longer the same. I saw everyone very busy trying to finish quickly so they could close but I also felt rushed. I know sometimes these places are very good when they first open and then they go down hill. Hopefully this location will go back to doing things the way they started. read more

Very Rude Employee's!!! Was on the beach one day and was thirsty. I went inside and asked for a water cup along with some of my friends. One worker hands us a couple and another comes and snatched them out of our hands and rudely says that we must buy something along with it otherwise we are stealing. Would've understood politely if she said it politely but was so rude after we were literally given the water cups by another employee!!! Went in the next day and bought a small fry and a drink.
