Our Experience at BurgerFi - Pompano Beach We visited the BurgerFi in Pompano Beach on Saturday, February 21, 2026, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we've had in a long time. The specialty burger was outstanding -- truly the best I've ever tasted. We also had the pleasure of meeting Mark, the district manager, who made the visit even more memorable. He introduced us to the chef and to the team member who created the delicious watermelon slushie. The staff checked on us several times, making sure we had everything we needed, and even surprised us with complimentary onion rings. Their hospitality was genuine and exceptional. The atmosphere, the food, and the service all came together to create a wonderful time. We even told Mark they need to open locations in Canada -- Toronto and Ottawa -- as well as New Port Richey. We'd proudly be ambassadors for them. What a pleasure from start to finish. Highly recommended. read more

I have felt for some time that BurgerFi is hit or miss. Unfortunately, this visit was a big miss. The service was good, the cashier was very nice. The restaurant seems clean. That's where the good ends. My BurgerFi cheeseburger had the tiniest double patties. They were thin and small. Probably a quarter pound or less of meat. There was more bread than meat. The meat itself was dry and didn't taste fresh. These burgers used to be delicious and satiating. Sad to see what they have become. The fries were also overwhelmingly salty. Tough times, I guess. Things everywhere are so expensive, it's frustrating to spend your hard earned money and for the food to leave you hungry and extremely underwhelmed. I doubt I'll give this place another chance and I will probably not return to any BurgerFi location in general in the future considering so many of their competitors are outstanding in comparison. I ordered the Wagyu burger after seeing the photos on the menu, which made it look juicy and high quality. Unfortunately, the actual burger was very disappointing. The meat was dry, lacked flavor, and did not taste like what I would expect from a Wagyu burger. Overall, the quality reminded me more of a basic fast-food burger than a premium burger restaurant. The fries were the highlight of the meal--fresh, crispy, and really good. Based on the menu photos and the price, I expected much more. I understand this location gets a lot of tourist traffic, but maintaining food quality and consistency is important for the brand. Late lunch date and I had to write a quick review of the change to BurgerFi!!!! They have SWEET POTATOES WAFFLES now!!!!!! Awesomeness..... we were super happy! Haha.. I love this burger spot here on the beach! Now that my workouts have increased so has my protein appetite... GAINS are coming.. very happy. 11.27.25 I became a true believer of Burgerfi from the first time i ate there. From the conflicted burger to the urban fries I was hooked. The conflicted burger is a beef burger & a veggie burger both on a bun. Irresponsibly delicious. It's a good contrast of crispy along with the beef burger. They go so well together, as long as you like and eat beef. The french fries are equally as good. The urban fries are fresh cut fries topped with fresh herbs, aged parmesan & drizzled garlic aioli. I'm drooling about these fruits as I write this. They're so memorable. Anytime I ate here I received quick good service. We were on a road trip to Pompano Beach and were hungry after the very heavy traffic on I95 from Miami. We saw BurgerFi and knew it would hit the spot. It's a very nice-looking place with comfortable seating inside and out. We chose outdoors as usual. We split a cheeseburger and fries as we planned an early dinner at the restaurant by the entrance to the Beach Pier. The service was good and the employees all seemed nice and friendly. The inside is clean and kept up. Street parking is wherever you could find it or at the parking garage a couple of blocks away. It didn't take long to find a spot across the street. read more

I used to go to BurgerFi in Delray Beach and loved that they had outdoor televisions to watch the games and the food was good. I've been to this BurgerFi in Pompano a handful of times and it's consistent but it's not a busy corner. There's nothing special about it. The food is good. It's not great. While BurgerFi locations away from the beach can be hit or miss (mostly miss), this location has fantastic burgers! Really enjoyed our fresh and juicy CEO and Prime Rib burgers. The host was very attentive and professional, keeping an eye on the kitchen while managing the intake. Everything appeared clean and well organized, including the restrooms. Plenty of seating inside (they had the A/C pretty cold) and outside on the patio. Prices are higher than off-beach locations, but the quality and presentation of the food more than make up for it. While smoking on a patio has been illegal in Florida since 2003, this location does not seem to expressly outlaw it per the lack of no-smoking signs. Paid parking nearby. read more

One of the best burger places I have ever been to. Being a vegetarian mainly, I find it hard to find good tasting vegetarian burgers, I tried many and they have failed me. BurgerFi does get the vegetarian burger damn right. I used to live in Florida and moved away. I wish these guys are all across the country, they would be a hit just with their vegefi burger. Burger Fi has a special place in my heart since I have been to its first location many times. Burger Fi is a fast casual hamburger chain that also serves beer and wine. The first restaurant opened in 2011 in Lauderdale-by-the-Sea in a former Burger King. They have now grown into 106 restaurants in 20 states and internationally. This Burger Fi recently opened in the Fishing Village, a six-acre site of restaurants and shops next to the new Fisher Family Pier. It is located next to the Kilwin's ice cream shop and across the street from the Beach. I stopped in for a late lunch after walking the beach after the storm. It is counter service, you order at the register and they bring your food out to you when it is ready. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. I had a BurgerFi cheeseburger with BurgerFi sauce and an order of their cry and fries, half fries and half onion rings with sweet onion rings the size of your hand. I love them along with their fun Coca-Cola Freestyle machine which makes for endless combination of drinks. I am a fan of this chain and they are going to do great here at the Pompano Beach. read more

I prefer crispy fries and these were not, but they were hot. Restaurant was not particularly clean. But they had outdoor seating where we ate. You order and pay at the counter, they give you a number to place on your table. They deliver your food to you. I ordered their junior burger fi burger -- which means one patty -- with lettuce, tomato, and sauce. I got it without lettuce, but added an onion ring topping (for a dollar). The burger was really good -- you wouldn't know this was fast food. My husband ordered their regular burger -- two patties -- and liked it as well. He tried their Barq's diet root beer from the freestyle Coke machine. There are lots of drink choices and combos you can make. Should you want, they have beer on tap, as well. Then he had a small vanilla custard. It's rich and creamy ice cream. You can tell it's custard -- not fake. They make shakes from custards also. This place will do gang busters once people realize it is here. It's across from the beach/pier. This was our first time trying burgerfi and let's just say I wasn't disappointed. We ordered the ultimate cheeseburger with bacon and fresh cut French fries, which were my absolute favorite - only bad thing was that they were a little on the cold side other than that everything was great. Finally checked out this location. Glad we did! As soon as we were walking in, unfortunately the little guy cut his toe on the door so I was worried we were going downhill from there but luckily that was not the case. I asked for a bandaid from the staff and the little man toughened up. We ordered 3 single burgers one plain, one with pickles and another green style with jalapeños and pickles. They came out perfectly. We also ordered a cryfry and the other little man was not happy with them he thought they were "soggy" luckily we were able to get them replaced with "well done" fries. And it made the kids meal perfect. The staff was very attentive, friendly and accommodating to our requests. They also were doing a great job at keeping the place nice and clean. The only thing I will comment is the manager on right now knew what happened with the little man slicing his toe on the door and he didn't say anything, acknowledge the situation or just check on us and make us feel like he cared. Maybe he didn't see it happen but the reason I know he knew what happened was because the staff asked him for the bandaid. Maybe it was because he was going on lunch break, he was sitting at the table right behind us and once I finished ordering I came to join the kids at the table and little man mentioned how the pain on his toe was intensified the manager was in earshot and still didn't say anything. I know that the manager saying something wasn't going to ease the pain but I feel he could have at least asked hey buddy are you ok. So I was really bothered by his non action on the situation. But I'm not going to let that effect my rating because the staff was so attentive and we enjoyed our meal and let's be honest we love the Burgerfi chain. I really hope the manager on shift reads this and next time a customer gets hurt he acknowledges the situation because that's what managers should do. BurgerFi... BurgerSigh. Took the family to this location for dinner Tuesday as it is a favorite of ours at several locations across the country. I ordered my regular double CEO burger and was ready to chow down (having skipped lunch). Unfortunately the burger I received was overcooked dry and without toppings. I took it up front to the manager who looked at it and called to the back to get me some cold bacon jam in a cup. Apparently I was supposed to spread this on the "burgers" with my finger. Ug. I put this miss on the manager who either is unaware of what the product looks like or does not actually eat the food his team is preparing.
