Ok, so basically we did a take-out order and by the time everything got back it was cold and undercooked (note we live 5-10 minutes away) and food shouldn't be freezing cold as if it were taken out of a freezer after 3 years of being in there. We had to microwave the undercooked, practically raw, burger with soggy lettuce and nothing positive about it. The experience was terrible, the burguer was completely burned so were the fries, the bun was ice cold, and the shake was nothing like the one in Coral Gables. I was excited to try BurgerFi after I got a flyer in the mail. Then I went to try it, and was completely disappointed. Not only did I find the staff was not well trained, but the burgers were so greasy, they felt heavy in the pit of my stomach until the next day. The fries and onion rings were also greasy. Very disappointed! Very long wait, it wasn't even busy when we walked in. Just ridiculous how long it took. The personnel that works there was horrible, held their cell phones in their hands while taking orders or working the cashier. The manager was around and you would think he would make sire his staff is professional but he didn't pay attention, also how they served people, especially how they greeted people. Within minutes of the posting of our first review, we received an email from "corporate" and, because we responded, one from the branch as well. Everybody tries a new place; as with this Burgerfi, many choose not to return. -The noise level from the blasting "music" was absolutely deafening. You couldn't even escape it at the outside tables because of added speakers. -The order came out quickly and accurately. The fries were hot. The burgers were cold because, most likely, they had been precooked and left on the back of the stove. This place has management issues. 2* review affirmed. The good news is that Pollo Tropical has leased a space a few blocks away. ---- We visited this newly opened Burgerfi a few evenings ago. We were attracted to a "build it yourself" kind of menu that was prepared to order and was new to the neighborhood. The experience started with a 10 minute+ wait on a line to a single cashier who laboriously punched our order into the register while still trying to upsell us, thus taking more time. We then waited more than 10 minutes for our food that had to be returned because the kitchen completely ignored the list of condiments clearly printed on the receipt. When we finally got our order, we found that the burgers were small, overcooked and dry; the fries had little taste and were soggy. We are guessing that while there will be always be new customers from nearby hotels, the novelty will quickly wear off for many local residents who, like us, have no interest in returning. This burger fi location recently opened and I was happy to see they were coming. It is better, brighter and livelier than other locations I have been to. It has the feel of a new restaurant, some employees have it down, others are still learning. I have not seen another burger fi with 20 beers on tap, and all good mind you, it is just kind of weird how you have to order the beer from the register rather than the bar. Anyhow, food was the same as any other location, good burgers, good fries, little bit of a wait but had good music, professional poker and baseball on TV and girls walking by in bikinis, no problems for this guy. read more

Burgerfi is the customization champions for burgers. You can create whatever you like wether you want to triple the patty or double the cheese anything is possible. They also have a couple beers that you can select from and some of the best fries you can imagine can either get it with parmesan cheese with herbs or with melted cheese. Staff was okay could have been more enthusiastic about work or at least fake it because some of the definitely looked upset so they wasn't really on top of there service. read more

Food here is solid for a burger joint, similar to Shake Shack or Five Guys. Their fries are thick and not crispy, I am not a fan. They offer nice custard floats and have an extensive beer selection. They have very slow service and they seem to mess up orders often so it's probably best to stick to something simple. Their wait time also sucks, it took about 25 minutes for my food and at that point my complete order was not even done. Will I be back? Depends how badly I want a burger.
