I had the "Getta" Bun nearly as big as my face, that didn't taste like it was mainly sugar and preservatives. Meat pattie that is actual meat, not offcuts and dripping with fat, just meat. Tomato, pickle, mayo, tomato relish, cheese, oh my lord yum. I literally felt like i was 10 again. Mr had the "Lot", so more of the above with added bacon, mustard and bbq sauce which is made in store. He was pretty happy kid too! The fries are not horrible, but you honestly could give them a miss because all that burger-y goodness is going to get you pretty full.. I was also pleasantly surprised to not get charged through the eyeballs for a can of Dr Pepper (i know Dr Pepper isnt everyones 'cup o tea', they also have root beer!). All in all we will probably be back. Kudos to the staff, there was only 2 of them working and were pretty steady, and we had our hot, fresh food in around 15 mins.

We were looking forward to a good breakfast and ordered the Big Breakfast with avocado added and a couple of coffees. When our breakfast arrived it looked good, but as soon as we touched the eggs they were hard and rubbery and our hearts sank. There's not much worse than overcooked poached eggs. Cutting into the eggs, all 4 were hard boiled with an overwhelming smell and taste of vinegar. If the eggs were just hard we would have still eaten them, but all we could taste was vinegar and the whites were rubbery and inedible. The waitress offered to replace them with fried eggs after talking to the cook. She advised that the cook could only make poached eggs with vinegared water and they couldn't guarantee that the same thing wouldn't happen again. We look forward to soft poached eggs with breakfast every Saturday, so we took the chance that if they were cooked properly they wouldn't taste like vinegar...unfortunately that was a very bad mistake. The eggs were replaced with terribly under-cooked poached eggs with raw whites oozing all over the plate. The thin layer of cooked whites on the outside still tasted only like vinegar so we just ate the yolks. The rest of the breakfast was nice, but we left feeling like the cook had no idea how to poach eggs, or had deliberately under cooked the eggs to the point that they were also inedible. Either way, we wouldn't go back.

It is a nice little local place and was definitely worth a visit. Nundah is just horrendous for street parking that's the only thing.
