He gave me some fries to munch on since it was taking so long to get my order completed (like I said, he was the only employee at 3am with a completely packed restaurant). This place is not really a restaurant, but a food stall with some outside benches outside.. Luckily when we came over there was no line so didn't wait for too long for our burgers. I've ordered chili burger with extra cheddar on top, my friend told me their hot sauce is really good but unfortunately they didn't have it so he was grilling some fresh spicy habaneros to top my dish instead. The beef was also tasting really good and was well grilled, along with the bun and the veggies. We also shared a portion of fries - some people don't like them, but I loved them! They're kinda small and curling up but taste fresh and salted in the right amount. Downside - a large portion costs 3.50, so you better share it, it's too much. Still pretty frisbee looking. My friend had the tomato burger, least you could see the tomoatoes. The sweet potato fries were probably the best I've ever had. Nice beer selection to wash it down. My only complaint is the place doesn't have air conditioning (I think that's common though however, I also don't recall them having any ceiling fans) and we were there during the recent European heat wave so it was stifling hot and sticky inside but the staff still maintained their politeness and friendliness. Most customers appeared to be English speaking and the staff easily conversed in English. They do a huge takeout business.

Lucky for us, we had a busy Turkish spot at the end of our block and decided to try it for lunch on our last day. We got a chicken kebab with garlic sauce and beef with fries and garlic sauce. We didn't expect too much considering it's fast food and that there are hundreds of different Turkish restaurants to choose from in the area. We first tried the chicken kebab and immediately understood the obsession from Berlin natives. It was so flavorful, so juicy, so tender, and went spectacularly with the garlic sauce. The beef was cut into very thin shavings and was so tasty as well. It paired perfectly with the French fries and garlic sauce. We ended up coming back later that evening for dinner. We were missing out on some much needed protein from other countries and couldn't resist the taste of the amazing chicken kebab and beef. I just wish they opened earlier in the morning so I could have ordered some to take with me on my flight home. Füger Imbiss is great, make sure you check them out on your next trip to Berlin.
