If I'm going to have a fast food burger in the UK, Burger King is probably my poison of choice
At times, needs must. Having discovered that the food court at the Peacocks Centre was shut, my friend and I went in search of food options with not that much time before the show began
This Burger King is located in the Peacocks Centre but we had to leave the centre and walk all the way round
The staff were working hard to serve the customers and it was interesting to see that they were cooking all the food to order - almost like In N Out Burger, one of my favourite burger chains on the west coast of the USA
I chose the Caesar chicken burger. The burger was nice and crunchy but the Caesar component wasn't that prominent - you'd have struggled to tell me that it was anything to do with a Caesar salad
My friend had an ocean catch burger, which interestingly wasn't on the main board but only on the tiny sign detailing their menu on the side wall. It was 'OK'
We shared a side of crispy chilli cheese bites, which were a nice idea and just the right amount of chilli
My chocolate milkshake was staisfyingly thick if a little industrial tasting compared to proper handmade milkshakes
