The strange thing is sandwiches do not come with anything on the side. Just a sandwich on a plate. No chips, no fries, no pickle spear. Just a sandwich. We did order onion rings as a appetizer they were pretty good, butI just found it odd the way our sandwiches were presented , and odder that our server never mentioned this. When talking about service, this is the one place that is not average. It is below average It was semi busy, but our server was often missing in action. Aside from the not mentioning the no accompaniment to sandwiches, she disappeared for 20 minutes as we were awaiting our check to leave. We actually had to ask a different server for our check. My chicken Caesar wrap came with soggy chicken and tasted like it had been drenched in Italian dressing instead of Caesar. The fries were limp and soggy. When I got home, I discovered that they had not given me chicken nuggets at all and had substituted jalapeño poppers instead. I called the restaurant and was told that a coupon would be sent to me in the mail. Unfortunately, that coupon never arrived. I later went back to Burger King and ordered another kids meal. When I got home, I realized that half of the food was missing. I called the restaurant again and spoke with the MOD. I explained the situation, and he told me to provide my name and stop by at my convenience to receive a free kids meal. The next time I decided to get Burger King, I went through the drive-thru and explained the situation to the manager. I was met with a very combative and argumentative response. She insisted that the previous issue had not occurred at that restaurant. I explained that this is the only Burger King I go to because it is on my way home from work, but she continued to argue with me. She eventually told me, "I'll do it this time, but going forward I will not do this. If you have any issues, you will need to follow the process." The problem is that I was following the process. I contacted the restaurant, spoke with the MOD, and was specifically told to provide my name and stop in to receive the replacement meal. The manager then came to the window and was extremely rude while giving me the food I had just purchased. The entire interaction was unnecessary and could have been handled in a much more professional and respectful manner. Burger King needs to do a better job of treating its customers professionally and providing a positive customer experience. Mistakes happen, and I understand that. What matters is how those mistakes are handled. Unfortunately, the way this situation was handled made an already frustrating experience even worse. I also noticed that the manager did not provide me with a receipt for my purchase today. Given the way the interaction went, it left me feeling that the receipt was intentionally withheld. I hope Burger King takes this feedback seriously and addresses how customer concerns are handled at this location. I am not looking for anything special--I simply expect to be treated with professionalism and respect when I bring a legitimate concern to a business.
