I would not recommend this Burger King to nobody. I came in to use a coupon that I got in the mail where I can get a large whopper meal for 6.99 and the lady ask me if I wanted cheese but it was an up charge for the cheese so I told her never mind on the cheese but they still charged me for the cheese even though I didn't want it anymore. Also when I asked her for the receipt she did not want to give it to me because she said she needed it which is absurd because she knew that she did not want me to have it because of what she did. More craziness, when I got my meal which was for dine in they gave me medium fries and not a large, like what the... I did not want to make a scene or argue so I just accepted it as is. They also took longer with my food and customers that ordered after me got their food first before me which is ABSURD!! Never come to this Burger King because they are tricky and not very friendly. 0/10

This is not a location that reflects the true BK experience , deplorable is the best way to my opinion of this location. Frequently filthy tables and floors, unfriendly staff that refuses to honor their coupons and will turn their back to you.

As a big proponent for a conventional , quick drive-thru for a breakfast meal fast food restaurant that this is honestly and relatively speaking, not it. It's your kick-start for the day. One that need most attention to, the careful layering of cheese, sausage, and egg sandwiched between a freshly baked, warm and flaky croissant. The tots, hot and crispy as if it just came off the fryer. All were nonexistent. Okay, lets rewind. Of course, I'm not expecting a hot breakfast each time I place my order but to completely disregard the standard amount of time food sits, is beyond incomprehensible. Texturally, the tater tots felt like wood chips with each bite. I'm assuming they were from yesterday's fried batch. The breakfast croissant sandwich, a bit dry and little hard almost to a point inedible. I will say their French toast sticks were the only thing I did like. Not to say it was good, it was okay to say the least. In conclusion, although their breakfast menu was somewhat of a disappointment. Their lunch menu is still what drives me to comeback to this specific location.

My group of 5 enjoyed a variety of their drinks and dishes, sharing 3 appetizers, enjoying 5 entrees, and indulging in two of their desserts. I started off with an alcoholic Mai Thai. Food wise, I had their grilled oysters, brussel Cesar, fried chicken curry dish, trifle dessert, and sorbet. As a non-seafood person, it was a big deal for me to try their oysters. I started slow with just their grilled oysters. They were drowning in garlic and butter, so it was hard not to like. The Brussel cesar was also a solid shareable. I appreciated that the salad did not come drenched in dressing. The curry friend chicken was phenomenal! The chicken fell of the bone so easily and was so crispy, moist, and overall outstanding. The curry and impossible rice paired perfectly with it. Finally, the desserts! I could have eaten two of the trifle dessert...it was smooth, creamy, and the perfect amount of sweet. It was everyone's favorite between the two. The sorbet was good, but I found the white chocolate a little weird/awkward since it was sitting around a bunch of cold sorbet...didn't melt or mesh well with the dish. It wasn't bad, but I'd try something else next time. Overall, I loved this place. The vibes, staff, and food were amazing. I can't wait to introduce more friends to this gem.

We ordered the crab and shrimp ceviche, a sourdough/goat cheese/ricotta dish, salmon crudo, seafood stew, branzino, oysters and my drink was yummy too! also got butter noodles for the kiddo, the restaurant was child friendly. i believe my cocktail was called a heartache. Beautiful presentation of the food. Oysters and crudo were phenomenal and i truly enjoyed everything i ate! I'll definitely be back when I'm in the DMV.

For starters, we got the New England Clam Chowder and an order of Chickpea Fries. New England Clam Chowder - definitely a chowder and not a soup (heavy cream base) with a nice flavor and a healthy amount of clam bits. Chickpea Fries - A nice portion of well prepared fries. Nice crunch on the outside, but moist on the inside. Well seasoned and not oily. Comes with ketchup and an avocado lime ranch, which was ok. It's a huge portion and we took most of it home to enjoy later. Good use of chickpeas. Branzino - This is a whole fish split in half. Pretty easy to remove the bones oneself. The skin was nice and crunchy with the meat inside moist. Well prepared. I'm not a huge fan of dill and I think the seasoning of dill is a bit overdone here. (I'm pretty sure it's dill. Whatever it is, it's too heavy for me and detracts from the meal.). The wild rice side dish is very good. Lobster Roll - Excellent. My partner ordered this and the only comment was that the large was very big and next time they likely would get the small one. Lots of delicious, cold lobster meat. The fries also were excellent. The service overall was very good. Our food was served at an appropriate rate (apps, then main, which seems not to be important at a lot of restaurants these days) and the water service was excellent. Recommend this restaurant. I probably would not get the Branzino again because of the heavy dill seasoning, but there are other items in the menu that look interesting.

The avocado toast topped with a perfectly poached egg topped with Japanese black sesame seeds is my go-to order, and the sandwiches are consistently good. Their cocktails are excellent, and the bar side makes a great venue for private parties or larger gatherings. I am apparently in the miniscule minority, but I find the drip coffee a bit too dark and somehow slightly burnt for my taste. Fortunately, they make an outstanding Dirty London Fog and a wonderful London Fog Chai Latte, either of which I'd happily order instead. All manner of alternative "milks" are available as are a pretty decent selection of local beers in their cooler if you are grabbing take out. Be prepared for a wait on weekends--this is one of Takoma Park's most popular brunch destinations. Like many cafés these days, it's a favorite of laptop-wielding remote workers, so tables can be at a premium. In my experience, though, solo diners are often gracious about moving to the communal table when they notice [or more likely are asked polietly if they wouldn't mind moving] a larger group waiting. It's just one more example of the friendly neighborhood atmosphere that keeps people coming back.

I had a menu in front of me in no time. Drink order taken, but I feel like when I place this order, it always gets messed up. I ordered a Sprite and water, all I got was the Sprite. With the heat, I sure could have used the water more, but oh well. Time to order and I wanted to order a dog, but also something to go with it. Seeing how the dogs don't come with a side, you need to order something else. I went with the Chili Idol. You cannot go wrong with a chili cheese dog, that is for sure. I love their bun concept here, giving you the option to cut this up into thirds, which you will need to do because of how big this thing is. Then to add on the heap of toppings, chili, cheese sauce and diced onions. You are in for a treat. Of course I devoured it. As my side for this, I went with their Crispy Pickle Chips, served with Miso Ranch. I could have went with fries, but I think this elevated it just a bit more. These were fresh from the fryer. That ranch, the right amount of salty to compliment it all. The atmosphere in here was a bit dead during my visit as it was after the lunch rush, but when I was about to leave it was picking up as the World Cup was coming on. I can see why people flock here because it has televisions everywhere. And each one of them has some sort of sports on them.

I stopped by this location in Silver Spring - it's located inside the Whole Foods - before a movie last week. Since it was my first time at PLNT, I ordered something traditional - the PLNT Cheeseburger (plant-based patty, caramelized onion, pickles, plant-based American cheese, green leaf lettuce, roma tomato, PLNT sauce, and potato bun). As a very failed former vegan (10 years as a vegetarian and vegan in my late teens to twenties), I was most worried about the vegan cheese (I remember having some pretty awful vegan cheeses in those days). The cheese was fine actually. The burger itself is okay; it kind of tastes like TVP (textured vegetable protein), a little dry, not too flavorful. But my real issue with the burger was its assembly - it was so covered in sauce and gooey cheese that the bun was sliding off before I even tried to pick it up. It was one of the messiest things I've ever tried to eat. And that's what I'll remember about my first PLNT Burger experience - not the flavor, but definitely the messiness of it. It was fast, which is great if you need a quick meal. And since it's in the food court area of Whole Foods, you can also grab other things while you're waiting for your meal or after. If you're vegan or vegetarian, this PLNT Burger might be a godsend and you might love it! Too messy for me!
