I added grilled pineapple, almonds, roasted red peppers, pesto, onion, lettuce, tomatoes, olives, and cheese. The burger was delicious and the shoestring fries I got on the side were pretty great also. My husband got the dinner portion of chicken wings which was huge. The wings were pretty good, but I was happy to have my custom burger.

SO annoying! Then when you do get a table the service is really slow and the food is awful. One particular time my sister found a gummy bear in her chicken salad, my chicken ciabatta was cold and we never got our side orders. The waiter was so apologetic and really nice, but there was nothing he could really do. I ended up feeling really sorry for him - it wasn't his fault, clearly the kitchen staff couldn't handled our EXTREMELY complicated order. Not! It's a fun place to go for cocktails - but be warned. Because we were there at such an odd hour, we were the only people there. When you visit Ireland, the pub culture is real and most pubs start to get quite busy around 5:30 pm. Since Bunsen isn't a pub and wasn't located in a particularly touristy area , it didn't surprise me they were empty at that time of day. What stuck out the most at first was the super friendly service right from the door. We were sat at a small banquet of tables against the wall and checked out the menu from QR code link on the table. We were there for their original burger so that is what we ordered. No sides and water to drink. I couldn't be filling up too much yet. It was pretty early after all and we had a lot of places to stop yet. The menu isn't huge. They focus on doing one thing well and keep it at that. I like a restaurant that doesn't try to be everything. Our burger came out within 10 min and it was juicy, hot and fresh. Presented beautifully wrapped. We shared this one burger because, we knew we had lots of food to eat later. Immediately after eating the last bite I wanted to order another. It was really that good. Such perfection!
