Memories of a time past, the 90s - a simpler time just before the world turned fast and in a way of flashing screens and over stimulation, it's all to much for my liking. Back then, there were no drive thru's - you stepped inside and as you approached, you'd hear "counter". I recall purple being the uniform color, the sound of ink impacting on the Teac register, people typically under 225 pounds. The microphone with the metal coil attached to the counter "cheeseburger ! Then "$4.25 please" You could see the hands of a worker adding the toppings in little circles upon the wax paper as the toasted buns came out of the pizza oven looking toaster. Yesterday I ordered two Whopper Juniors, only a voice from a large screen was my connection to my burger. I was starving and feeling hypoglycemic so I took a big bite of my whopper only to discover there was no burger patty in it. I tried calling the BK twice but they didn't pick up. I assumed there was no answer because they are busy af (long lines and probably short staffed.) So, I'm like "it's cool, I'll just do the survey and maybe they'll give me a voucher to replace my non-burger burger." Burger King on HWY, 301 Parrish. I stopped in at this location on Saturday 2/3/23. Went thru the drive thru. Ordered A whopper with cheese meal with fries & coke. Drove off, put my hand in the bag to grab some fries, and got some tepid soggy onion rings. I live near there, so when I got home, I reached in the bag for my whopper. To my surprise it wasn't a whopper, I thought ok, it's a chicken sandwich. However, I took a bite, and it was FISH! I can't eat fish. But, they got 1 thing right. The coke! I tossed the sandwich in the trash. Today 2/6/23, I thought, I'll stop in and order inside. I should have just beat myself in the head instead. I ordered the whopper meal again. While waiting for my food. I went to get my coke, but the machine was out of classic coke. I mentioned this to the girl, and I guess she wanted me to jump the counter and get it myself, because she said, well we have some in the back! Ok then. There was a young fella that was waiting for some help, before me, and he was back up to counter, because his order was not right. It had something to do with him not getting his fries. What did she do? She reached into a bag, pulled the fries out of that order. And handed it to the man. She swooped up some more fries, and tossed them back into that orders bag. THAT BAG she took the fries out of, and tossed the fries back into, . .happened to be my order! This woman should not be in management. She was flippant when I told her about my Saturday order, the coke being out. And then takes that man's fries out of my bag. I live less than a mile from here. Management needs trained better. This location has terrible service. It is in Parish Fl on 301 North. It took 32 minutes after we arrive and we finally left without getting our food. WE wasted all this time and people were still waiting in the Drive thru line when we simply left. If they were having problems then they should have notified the cars in the drive thru line. This is not the first time that this has happened to us. Obviously the manager and the staff needs to be held responsible. This happened tonight 4/26/24 . We arrive at 8 PM waited until 8:40 PM. This location is the worst of the worst! Made the mistake of eating there with a family member and both of us has severe stomach aches within 20 minutes of eating there. Both of us had BK King meals. Honestly, what is the deal with this Burger King?!?! It doesn't matter if there is one car in the drive thru or four cars, there is always the longest flipping wait and the food isn't even free. And EVERY TIME I ask for sauce with nuggets it's NEVER I'm the bag when they give it to me and ask surprise when I ask for it. Food OK for a typical Burger King but staff will get overly aggressive for your name for your order. Burger King needs to put a stop to their practice of asking for names for orders - after all, I am not looking for a personal relationship with a fast food restaurant such as Burger King, I am just there to get what I want and be on my way. I've been there twice lately, I gave them a second chance. Both times they gave me somebody else's order, delivered. The first time they didn't offer any kind of compensation and the second time they only sent half the order and blamed Door Dash. They only offered a refund but not any form of compensation for ruining our card night with our children. They said they could send the other half but it would be over an hour. Highly disappointed. Went inside as they are open to a limited degree as there were about nine tables to sit at. One hundred percent of tables had food crumbs and soda cup marks. Zero clean spaces. No one behind the counter had a mask on. The burgers were so cold that the cheese would not melt. We tried jalapeño poppers that were also very cool plus we only received 5 pieces not the eight piece we ordered. The ice from the dispenser fountain made the soda smell and taste like some sort of floor cleaner. It was absolutely gross and deserves negative stars as one is too many. read more

Every time I come I expect it to be a better experience than the last and every time I'm disappointed. I work in the plaza next to this Burger King. Should be a quick convenient way to get breakfast. They have always made me "earn" my food. Whether it be waiting for someone to take my order at the call box, not using the other call box at all so I waste my time sitting there waiting while other people have their orders taken. And when it's not that they forget an item every time. A simple order, a breakfast sandwich and hash browns. Five out of ten times I don't get my hash browns. When this store was built and about to open, I was delighted to have a BK so close. For the first 6 months I was so pleased with both service and food quality. Well the honeymoon is over. The past several months the food has been increasingly disappointing. With an above average fast food price point, perhaps management should encourage attention to details in food presentation. Smashed and soggy buns, hot lettuce, pasty fries (old fry oil) very disappointing, Tonight was the last visit for me. I ordered the new Chicken Parmesan Sandwich. In a word-awful. I went into this Burger King and it's fairly new and talked to the manager about all the tables need to be wiped down and he said they were short staffed. I also noticed that all the trash cans overflowing and a swamp area of muddy water by the soda machine not to mention where you sit and eat the windows were so smeary it looked like someone took their greasy fries or burgers on the window. Went to this BK the day after Christmas. Got in line to place my order only to find I was in the line waiting for food pick-up. That's how long the line was for people waiting to get their food. Stood at the counter for a long time before anyone attempted to take my order. While ordering, I was informed that they had no French fries. Apparently they did not order them before the holiday. Got in line with the others waiting for their food and finally received my Whopper meal less French fries. The burger was absolutely cold. I choose BK because of the flame broiled burger which is always hot. Not so at this location. The staff needs training and the service is terrible. They laugh at customers, roll their eyes, give plenty of attitude and basically violate every customer service rule/expectation there is!
