Still doing like I said in my previous review, a man welcomes you to Burger King, you start to give your order, then there's a pause and a woman answers. This is still confusing, and I still wonder if Burger King has a greeter.
I have asked four times for ketchup for my fries, but no ketchup was given. So I stopped ordering fries. The last time I ordered a whopper, there were no napkins.
Today I tried to order a Barbecue Bacon Crispy Chicken Sandwich and a small Sprite.
I said I want a Barbecue Bacon Crispy Chicken Sandwich and a small Sprite.
She said you want the crispy chicken?
I thought she was making sure I didn't want grilled, so no worries. I said Yes.
She said you want barbecue sauce and bacon?
Uh...
Yes.
She said You want mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato?
I said I want whatever it comes with.
I'm not asking for any additions, subtractions, or substitutions. How much easier could I be?
She said I have that you want crispy chicken and I've added barbecue sauce and bacon.
I said I don't know why you would need to since it's on the menu, but ok.
She said It comes with mayonnaise lettuce and tomato.
I said ok, that's fine.
She said Do you want the meal, or just the sandwich?
I said I just want the sandwich and the drink.
Ok she says, that'll be 5.53.
And I knew she hadn't taken my drink order, even though I mentioned it twice.
I started to tell her again that I also wanted a small Sprite, but thinking of all these weeks of not getting my ketchup, not getting napkins, forced to yell No repeatedly because they couldn't hear me when they asked if I wanted cheese...now, since I wasn't ordering fries so they couldn't forget the ketchup, they were leaving off my drink.
I told her to forget it, I was going to McDonald's.
McDonald's was polite, got my order correct and gave me ketchup.
It's a shame, though, I really wanted that barbecue chicken sandwich.
Not sure if they've lost my business forever, COVID narrows down my dining out choices a lot, so they've got me over a barrel, so to speak, but it will be a while.
I hope I don't come across as a Karen. I'm actually pretty patient. Today was one of many, many dissatisfied trips, and it's the first time I've ever given up and stormed off. read more
