This location, near my home, always has issues - rude drive-thru employees, out of advertised specialty items, Icee machine down/out-of-service, etc. I don't go to Burger King often, but whenever I do it just seems to be rife with issues it shouldn't be suffering from. This location is certainly far from regal, and the owners and management team should do better in order to get a loyal following. read more

Three strikes. No quality control or training occurring here. No way, or management just does not care. Sandwiches look like the ingredients to include the beef and condiments were thrown at a bun from 50 yards away every time. Of course, you don't know your SIMPLE order is wrong until you leave the drive-thru and get back on the road. You may ask, wow 5 stars. How can that be, based on the previous reviews? I will tell you. Yes it's another Burger King, another fast food establishment when we have so many to choose from but it really did shine above so many other Burger King's. After a while on the road, I'll be honest.... my first impression was the restroom. As I walked in, my first thought was, wow.... nice. Yes, lots of times it's a gamble on what we will see upon entering fast food restrooms due to rickety doors in the stalls, outdated sinks and hand dryers, outdated tile on the walls and a worn out feeling in general. But I was pleasantly surprised at the updated look this restroom had with a neutral color tone and the cleanliness of the entire room. Oh, I loved the powerful hand dryer by the way. So many hand dryers are lame as you stand there for minutes waiting for your hands to get 'sort of dry'. This one had them dry in seconds. The ordering area was also very nice, clean and bright and everything went smoothly. As we waited the short time for our food, we got our beverages from the clean beverage station. As we all have experienced, it's not uncommon to see sticky, messy beverage areas that are sometimes out of ketchup, napkins, straws or napkins but not this one. It was well supplied and clean. We sat down and our first thoughts were wow, not bad for a Burger King. It reminded me of a retro type look with the bright orange seats and orange color accents in a neutral overall tone. Everything was fresh and clean and made for a nice lunch which again, I must say pleasantly surprised us. The food was what we expected as far as what Burger King offers, so no complaints at all. If you've been here before the remodel, I'd say come back and see for yourself how the fresh look and clean restaurant add to the experience of a nice visit. So yes, for a fast food review, this one receives 5 stars from me. read more

This location was given the "three strike rule ," and they failed! Each time, two burgers were ordered without pickles, and each time extra pickles were added to the burgers! Never going there again! Past time for this location to be closed! If management/ownership cares about this location, they will respond to this review within one day! I order cheese sticks and the impossible whopper ans onion rings. I want to say the only thing good in my whole meal was the onion rings and Probally because the had to make them fresh. Ok, I understand that it is fast food, but even at it's worst I have never experienced such awful customer service matched only by the grossness of the food. Started with ten minutes in the drive thru, by itself nothing to be bothered by even if 5-7 minutes of it was trying to get the young gentleman at the speaker to reengage so I could add cheese to 2 whoopers and make three burgers plain. When it's almost our turn to go to the speaker, I pull around and there is still no one behind me. I tell them at the window that I'm sorry but I needed the previously mentioned changes and the to younger people are very pleasant. The young woman disappears and then comes back with my food, and apologizes before saying they were busy and cannot remake my food because it is not their fault I miss order them. As soon as I disagreed with her assessment, the assistant manager came to the window and reiterated that I was in fact at fault. She tells me to stop yelling at her which I had not and did not do through out the whole encounter. I ask for the corporate number and she now agrees to remake my food. Only she just makes the plain burgers, the whoopers would alas stay cheese-less. At this point I ask my nine year old for the bag to double check everything, and I course, no fries. More attitude of course after she tells me, pull forward so that the other customers can have warm food, oblivious to the irony of her statement. She brings the fries out again with a side of the bad kind of sass, and now provides the corporate number and store number. Finally my daughter and I head home, bring the food in, and it is all cold and gross. Even the fries we were handed less than two minutes before we sat down. I live two football fields from this location and will go to the 23 and Gratiot location from now on. read more

I could not remember why I did not go to this closer burger king to my house but now I do. this restaurant must be a franchise restaurant. the management does not keep the store up at all. I talked to the manager and they said that the air conditioning has been down for a week. For a business that's sits right by the base, the only military complex around and they used to get discounts to the military personnel just like every other restaurant in that row down Gratiot does and still does this Burger King decided they were going to take away the military discount because you know military makes up less than 1% of the entire population on the planet so that must have been too many patrons from the military going here and getting a discount it must have been costing this Burger King billions of dollars to give their 10% discount to service members who get paid way less than people with normal jobs but defend the life's in the freedoms of this country. I used to stop at this Burger King about once per week for breakfast, until last week. While waiting at the drive thru window, I watched the woman serving and bagging the food continually wipe her runny nose on the back of her hand and continue to bag and serve food without washing. Because she was wearing a different shirt than others, I assume that she is a manager. I drove away and then felt bad because I didn't warn the people in line behind me. Stopped there on the way to work on 4/25/18 at 7:10am. Ordered a Ham, egg and Cheese croissant meal with large coke. Hash rounds good, along with the Coke but took one bite from the croissant and spit it out. NEVER had I had something so foul. Will never get food from here again. read more
