Always love the tacos here but I have had repeated bad experiences with the ladies here. Ordered 4…read morebreakfast tacos and only got 2 small salsas. Had to pay $1.00 more to get one salsa for each taco. They are the smallest condiment containers and one is not enough for two tacos, if you're only giving one container for two tacos give bigger condiment containers. Asked for salt and pepper and got one tiny pack of each and an attitude. One pack of pepper for four tacos is not a good thing and then to get an attitude is ridiculous. Didn't get my coffee, with requested cream and Splenda when handed my tacos. Asked for it again and was told we don't have Splenda. Then I get handed coffee with one Splenda pack with a nasty look. Good luck treating customers like that. Salt, pepper and Splenda are a small cost to losing a repeat customer. Being snotty and having a negative tone are a bad business model for dealing with customers. Being pleasant, smiling and saying thank you or sorry when you forget a customer's item don't cost anything . Tacos 5 stars Service 0 stars Rounded up to 3 stars because the gentleman who owns it has good food and has always been nice.

Hello, I am extremely disappointed by how an assistant…read moremanager at the Gun Barrel City Taco Bell has handled my DoorDash pickups. During an earlier order, the customer specifically requested hot sauce. I took hot sauce for that order, explained the customer's request to the assistant manager, and was then blocked from receiving pickups from this location for allegedly "stealing." DoorDash Support later removed the block. When I later returned for another pickup, the same manager gave me a hostile look, and I was blocked again without any explanation or new incident. The situation became much more serious when employees at a different restaurant told me they had heard that I was blocked for stealing. That accusation is false, and hearing that it had apparently spread beyond this location was alarming and damaging to my professional reputation. I have a five star platinum rating which I have earned by always placing customer service as my top priority. I cannot verify why I was blocked a second time, but the repeated blocking and the false theft allegation create a serious appearance of retaliation and misuse of the merchant's DoorDash access. I am asking Taco Bell's district or corporate management to review the block history, the reason for entering each block, and whether this manager has discussed those accusations with other restaurant staff or Dashers. A manager should not be able to damage a Dasher's livelihood or reputation through an unsupported accusation. Until this is investigated and corrected, I cannot recommend this location to Dashers. Also, it is difficult to turn left to go east when getting out of the parking lot to get onto Highway 175. The parking area has plenty of space, and there were 2 stalls in the restrooms, which were well-maintained. The stalls could've used some hooks on either the door or the walls for hanging jackets &/or purses. The eating area had a nice ambience to it. I like that they have an all-day breakfast menu. I got 2 Egg McMuffins, since I forgot how big they were (one would be enough in the future). Also, I had to specify for them to make my Egg McMuffins meatless (aka--vegetarian-friendly), since they will add Canadian bacon if not asked specifically to hold it. It doesn't make sense to me that on the menu, it just lists the egg & cheese, but doesn't list the Canadian bacon, even though it gets put on there. Some "truth in labeling" would be needed there. But I would definitely visit this location again in the future!
