Trip from GA ~}SC!…read more I flew to Georgia for a wedding and saw that the closest KFC buffet was 1 1/2 hours from where we were. Since they don't have any in the west coast anymore, we thought it would be a nice scenic drive. SO WORTH THE TRIP! Walking in, the price was only $14.99 per person. Receipt showed $28.98 for the both of us. Drinks are included! The buffet sections were very clean and organized. Everything looked so crispy so I grabbed some light meat, fried okra, some fried liver, mash potatoes and gravy, and some greens. I wish I got her name, but one of the ladies were so sweet and we were able to chat with her for a bit. Apparently before we came there, they ran out of the cherry and blueberry cobbler, so they whipped up some peach cobbler and it was DELICIOUS! Since it was made in house, my partner and I knew that we won't be able to get it back in Cali, so we enjoyed it while we could. Before we cleaned up, she chatted with us some more and said to come back, which was so nice! the sign on the wall said "don't be a stranger" and we felt very welcomed! I hope to visit Georgia again so I can come back here. Thank you to the staff for the southern hospitality! I really wish I got her name, but she had the rectangular glasses and curly hair tied up. If you're reading this, you're one of the reason why we want to drive 1 1/2 hours back

Good selection of sides-- the burgers come with two of them-- and the shakes qualified as some of the thickest hand-scooped shakes either of us could recall. Service was efficient. The "religious music" referenced in another review is XM/Sirius Christian rock at a low-enough volume that I had to consciously listen to ID it. Seriously, if MUSIC makes you sufficiently unhinged and "uncomfortable" to dampen the lunch experience, you should probably seek counseling and avoid the internet for a few years.
