I'm a regular here, my order is super annoying but they're always super nice. I get an impossible burger with onion rings on it.

Always good food and fast service. For a fast food place it's pretty darn fresh, very surprising. Thanks BK!

Gardner Ale House at Moon Hill Brewing gave us a nice evening of good music, cold brews, good food,…read moredollar oysters! (Apr 2026). We came here to try out their Monday Blues, and happened on their Monday Buck-a-Shuck oysters! We found a long room with over 70 seats set up at tables for four that looked combine-able, about 20 seats at the bar and at 2-seat hightops, both rooms with a wall of windows. The band set up in the bar window, but sit where you like, we found that we could hear the band everywhere! There's also a small enclosed outdoor patio with about 30 more seats at umbrellaed tables. The Jim Atkinson band is a foursome of Boston-area musicians that has been cranking out great blues, rock, & roots since 2017. We loved them, especially enjoying the creative keyboard and a real live sax! Their music selection was amazing, more their favorite solid blues than old-standbys, so we didn't recognize every song. But that's real music :-) The $1 New England oysters were big and juicy! They started at 4pm before we got there, and they still had plenty for us after 7pm! They say the variety changes with availability. These were not overly salty. This was dinner for us, and we started with their hot-skillet "Mexican Corn Dip" with zingy pico de gallo salsa and fresh crisp corn tortilla chips. We got a "warm energy" bowl of quinoa, fresh tart cranberries, baby spinach, roasted sweet potato, and goat cheese, flavored with some scallions and garlic-butter. Huge, delicious, and very satisfying! The Fish 'n Chips was a full-foot-long full of their own Moon-Hill-beer beer-battered haddock, piping-hot fries, fresh crunchy coleslaw, with tartar sauce. Yep, Huge, delicious, and satisfying! We tried their parmesan-garlic wings, but that wasn't our favorite. They were ok, but not crispy which we expected. Came with crunchy celery and creamy bleu cheese. Of course we leaned on their in-house Moon Hill brewery for several dry IPAs, their luscious Candy Mountain blueberry sour, (which could have been colder), and a very tasty non-alcohol Blueberry (Not)-tini, a bubbly beverage crafted with "Reàl Blueberry Purée", fresh lemon juice and lemonade. This is a nice community bar, brewery, restaurant, and patio. We are already looking forward to their big Octoberfest!

I ordered the gluten free Red Apple Farm Cranberry Hard Cider Cider - Other Fruit * 5.7% ABV 16oz Draft $8.50 - 12oz Draft $7.75. Which I enjoyed because it was not too sweet. For our APPETIZER we ordered the Barbecue Pulled Pork Bruschetta Brick oven garlic bread, house made slow roasted pulled pork, bacon crumbles, melted shredded cheese. Drizzle of house made white barbecue sauce, scallions $16.00 and it was delicious! Service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere here was calm and casual.

Delivery Review (Uber Eats) -- First Impression I haven't…read morestepped foot inside the restaurant yet, but based on this delivery alone I need to say something very important: Holy crap on a stick. This was absolutely delicious -- and easily one of the best pizza experiences in Gardner. Let's get this out of the way early: You're gonna pay for this pizza. Make peace with Jesus before you hit "Place Order," because they're using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and doing everything by hand. You will not find Cisco darkening their doorstep. This is a kitchen that respects itself. In our household, the test of any new pizza place is the Meat Lovers. How they source and treat their meats tells you everything you need to know about the operation. The Meats - Sausage: Real fennel, real bite, real flavor. Not the bland, gray mystery pellets you get from bulk suppliers. - Hamburger: Not frozen, not imported, not filler. This was actual beef with actual mouthfeel. - Bacon: If you screw up bacon, you shouldn't be making pizza. They didn't screw up bacon. The Cheese This is where Parker House flexes. The cheese didn't pull to the center. It didn't puddle. It didn't run away from the crust like it was scared. They understand alchemy -- the cheese stretched all the way to the edge, binding the whole thing together like a culinary spell. The Crust Not too thick. Not too thin. Didn't break your teeth, didn't flop like a sad handshake. It had enough structure and flavor that even people who normally abandon the end crust will finish it. That's rare. The Sauce This wasn't generic red paste. This was the Parker House Blend -- zesty, bright, flavorful, and confident. It held up the toppings without masking them, and it complemented the cheese instead of fighting it. The Aftermath We devoured the large pizza. Then we sat there in silence, staring at the empty box, realizing what we had done. Deep shame. Zero regrets. Next Steps At this point, we're going to have to go down there in person. I want to study the ambiance, meet the people, and maybe film a segment -- and I have a strong suspicion they'd welcome it. Unless the counter staff turn out to be complete jerks (unlikely), this place is sitting at a solid five stars. If they're sarcastic, even better -- that's my love language. Final Verdict Visit this place. Get a table. Order a pizza. Do it up. You will not be disappointed.

Standouts were the chicken finger dinners -- one was buffalo and one plain. Both exactly what you want when craving crispy chicken fingers with French fries or onion rings. We didn't really care for the small cheese pizza, I probably wouldn't order pizza again. We did online ordering and pick up. They had a 15% off new customer coupon offer which was nice! Bonus points!

Blue Moon Diner isn't just a place to eat--it's local legend. The menu is a single two‑sided sheet,…read morebecause this isn't the Cheesecake Factory and they don't need a novella to prove themselves. They cook what they cook, and what they cook is magic. If you walk in and don't order the Eggs Irish, you've made a tactical error. The hollandaise alone is worth the trip. It's not overly citric, not gloopy, not pretending to be fancy--it's smooth, balanced, and somehow manages to make everything it touches taste like it's living its best life. On Eggs Irish, it becomes a full‑blown religious experience. Add their homemade corned beef hash for a few extra bucks and suddenly you're questioning why every other diner in America can't get this right. The omelets are tight, well‑built, and structurally sound--like they were engineered by someone who respects eggs as a building material. People show up for the country‑fried potatoes, but they stay for the pancakes, which are so good they should probably come with a warning label about emotional attachment. Everything here is over‑the‑top decent, and when you remember this diner was built in the 1920s--over a century ago--it all clicks. This is legacy. This is what happens when a place figures out what works and then refuses to let time, trends, or nonsense talk them out of it. No shortcuts, no chaos, just a menu designed to be executed well every single time. The staff gets it. They're friendly without being fake, fast without being frantic, and they treat you like someone who belongs there. The food comes out consistent because the menu is built for consistency. It's diner food, sure--but it's diner food operating at a level that puts it in the same conversation as Carl's Oxford Diner and the Bridge Diner in Lancaster. Go here. Eat. Leave full. It's not complicated. I've never walked out hungry, and I don't think it's even possible.
