I have enjoyed the occasional Whopper now and then for maybe 50 years or more. I know that everyone, especially fast food restaurants, have trouble finding good employees but they need to concentrate first on competent management. The Whopper that I received today is nothing like I remember even from my last visit. Whatever happened to "flame broiled"? There is no way this burger ever saw a flame broiler. I'm guessing it was previously cooked then rewarmed when needed. Not anything like it should be and then on a smashed bun with one small brownish piece of lettuce and two little golf ball sized slices of tomato but lots of onion! I will continue going to Burger King for a Whopper but just not the one in my home town and hope for the best. This is a very basic and not real inviting burger king. You're not welcomed when you enter the restaurant and are stared at to get your order. The food was not very fresh and the place smelled of burned bacon. It was peaceful and empty in the dining room. I would suggest a different spot read more

Sucked Royally. Old cold food and awful Coke. Was like throwing six bucks away on a raunchy croissant and rounds. No receipt so I can't even expense this breakfast abortion. No ketchup. No napkins. Exactly the reason I dislike Burger King. I've slowly been rolling them back into the mix but this compounded with a few other recent bad BK experiences throws them off the menu. This was the 2nd visit that we have had really bad food. Ordered on line 2 small big fish meals, pulled ahead to wait, received the 2 fish sandwiches, 1 fry. Asked for the drinks and the other fry. Which one of the fries were cold, the sandwiches were basically hard, cold, had been sitting for a long time and didn't even taste like fish! This is more than likely the last time we will be patronizing this Clare Michigan location, trying to help the local businesses!!? Hope someone cares enough to try and improve this situation. Terrible. Pulled in at 7:30 on a Friday night in September. About 6 people inside and one car ahead of me in drive through. Ordered 20 nuggets and a happy meal. Pay and told to pull forward as they're making fresh nuggets. Car ahead of me is also pulled forward. 10+ minutes later I get food along with car ahead of me. I ask if ranch is in the bag and I'm told there is. I look and of course there isn't any. Tell the kid I didn't get ranch and he goes back inside. Im expecting 5 ranches (20 nuggets + happy meal). Kid comes back with 2. Express my displeasure and leave. While pulling out I realize I never got the milk with happy meal. Terrible BK. Will not stop there again. Get home and I find 30 nuggets. First yelp review, downloaded the yelp app and got an account just for this. Generally like Burger King, stopped here on way up north on a Friday evening, place was deserted except staff. Ordered the 10 piece nuggets and onion rings. Got back on the highway to discover the rings were fresh, but the nuggets were not. They were so dehydrated and like biting a chunk of breaded leather. So gross, wife and I each bit one same time both spit it out immediately . How is it that difficult to get fresh food with no body in there?!?! These things had to been cooked hours ago. I bought cheeseburgers here as my dog loves Burger King and I have to say these were the worst burgers of any BK we have EVER received. To start with they were barely warm. So much so that the cold cheese wouldn't even melt at all. On top of that, there was almost none of the char broil taste we are used to. In fact they tasted more like precooked frozen burgers that had Bennett sitting in a water bath to keep warm. Utterly disgusting. 12:30 Thursday lunch time. Had 4 cars ahead of us in line, took 14 min to get to speaker. Once there someone spoke over the speaker, and while laughing asked us to please wait. 4 1/2 min later they took our order and when we pulled around the building there were ZERO cars waiting ahead of us. We heard them ask the next car at the speaker to please wait, and we heard them start taking their order when we got our food handed to us. As we drove away from the window the next car behind us came around the building. It appears they were only doing 1 order at a time, which was surprising since they had no dining room orders. Never been to a burger king that doesnt know how to serve fresh food. Been to this BK several times and the chicken is always old. Absolutely disgustingly old :( i asked for them to make it fresh amd am told "its lunchtime so it will be fresh, it wasnt. Went to Burger King today in Clare,Michigan which I usually do every 2 weeks on the way back from the Cancer Doctor prior visit was on October 11th came through ordered 2 Whopper meals were supposed to be no PICKLE!! well I didn't look so halfway down the freeway headed home I opened my sandwich and there was pickles on both of them!! When I got home I called the manager and she informed me that she had worked all day and don't remember that order..she was supposed to get back to me after taking my name and number and abruptly hanging up on me...I never did receive that call back!! I was talked to and treated very poorly by that blonde manager that day.. Then today my daughter and I went to Clare and she decided she wanted some cheesy tots since she had seen the commercial for them..and I said I'll try a taco.. so my daughter went in at I:46 pm on October 20th and got told that they didn't know how long her order was going to take because they were extremely busy...the girls order was $2.12 And it took over 15 minutes to get those 2 items... How long does it take to deep fry a taco (which wasn't very good) and 4 single tater tots???????? Seriously your store needs a visit from a regional manager! read more
