Needless to say, I could barely find anyone open on a Saturday around 1 pm ( guess the florist businesses are booming and can be shut down on a Saturday) Long story short, I get ahold of Susie with "The Blooming Rooster." I ask if she could deliver tomorrow on a Sunday - knowing it was a long shot, but she didn't and when she seen the delivery address was 28 minutes away from her SHE IMMEDIATELY tells me it's too far and out of her delivery area BUT AS A CUSTOMER ORIENTED BUSINESS OWNER.. she began to look through her contacts to find me someone she would trust that does deliver to the address that I needed the bouquet to go too. As she began to mutter () people in her contacts she was talking to herself and saying yes, oh yes, but oh crap she's not open today ... and I stopped her and just asked if I give you XXX amount of money can you deliver an arrangement of your choice and design ? And because she realized how important it was to me, she agreed and AND she even added some chocolate candy for my stepmom. Susie is the epitome of customer service !! Teleflora's Summer Daydream Bouquet ended up being perfect and I went with the deluxe option. Prices were fair for the flowers and the delivery charge was reasonable. The most important thing was the person who received them loved the colors and selection. Bart told me that if wanted the arrangement from them (as opposed to FTD), there would be a significant price increase from what the web site advertised (40-50% more). I was more worried about getting a pretty arrangement so I places the order over the phone. I asked if they could add a little blue (my MIL's favorite color), Bart said no problem. When I arrived at the church, I did not recognize any of the arrangements as the one I ordered. I figured out which one was mine based on the card and it looked nothing like what I anticipated. There was no blue. It was not the tailored arrangement pictured on the website. Plus there was a ton of filler in this arrangement.
