For the past couple of years, I had been wanting to make updates to our home but couldn't find anyone I could trust, and I honestly thought it was a lost cause until I found Ibro. He reached out, was very friendly on the phone, came to the house, understood my vision, talked me through the expected timeline, and provided a detailed and fair quote for the project. We also wanted to stay within a budget, and I really appreciated how transparent and thoughtful he was in helping us manage expectations and make decisions that kept the project on track financially without sacrificing quality. He was clearly someone with a lot of integrity who follows through on his promises. Ibro and his team consistently finished their work within the quoted timeframe, which was truly impressive and a testament to their experience. He handled all technical aspects of the project expertly, his craftsmanship showed meticulous attention to detail, and he provided valuable consulting throughout the process as well. We really appreciated their ability to remodel while we were still occupying the house as well. This saved us money and they were always respectful of our space and routine. During those couple of months, they honestly started to feel like part of the family. They transformed our bathroom, bedrooms, living room, kitchen, and stairs, they truly can do it all. I'm so happy to have found a reliable and trustworthy builder. My father is an architect and also met with Ibro, and he was very impressed by both his talent and experience. They are professional, reliable, honest, take pride in their work, and deliver beautiful results. I've included some before-and-after photos as well to show how amazing everything turned out. I am forever grateful to finally have my dream kitchen. Jorge and his crew re-insulated, repaired, and repainted those areas. While working on our bathroom, Jorge discovered that one section had no insulation, which was causing condensation issues. They also installed a new bathroom fan in our kids' bathroom and painted it that room and ceiling as well. We also had them paint our front door. I recently got our driveway done by Pathways Concrete and it came out great. I was a little worried…read morebecause it took a while to get it done. It took just under 2 months from when we signed the contract and gave our initial 1/2 deposit down (they don't take credit card as website suggested). In his defense, it has been a very wet season which delays work, but the communication could have been better. He didn't mention that we would need a permit but I found out on my own and got it done myself. So please make sure you look into your town's requirements yourself or ask him beforehand. I thought they should be aware of permit requirements or at least mention it with so many years experience, but hey. I had read some bad reviews and started to get nervous, he agreed to not accept the final payment until the city came out and inspected. They did and it passed inspection. So... although the road was long it comes down to the fact that our driveway came out great and since his price was lower than others I'm giving 4 stars instead of 3. We had my daughters 1st birthday party a weekend later and had a few comments on how nice it looked. Thanks Pathways/Tom Ratz.

This is a story of a leaky shower. After literally years of hiring various well regarded plumbers…read moreand handymen to try to remedy it, it always leaked again - usually in less than a year. When mold showed through the ceiling of the room below the shower and the mold remediation contractor cut through the ceiling it was clear we needed to consider replacing the shower and much of the subfloor. Serious perusing of reviews on yelp led me to JRW. Just one phone call made me hopeful. First they re- grouted the shower pan/wall connection so it could be used until they had an opening in their schedule a few weeks away to replace the shower. Finally the big day came. Joel (the owner) sent me photos (it was a tenant occupied home) everyday and explained every step of the way what needed to be done and how much it would cost. He respected my decisions. He also picked out materials subject to my approval - and I always said yes because his choices were excellent as well as in budget. I had been concerned of the impact of a big project with workers in and out every day for a week or so on the tenants. I needn't have worried, the day after it was complete the tenant emailed me unsolicited and said that the workers did a great job: excellent workmanship, seemed trustworthy, respectful of the tenants and house, cleaned up everything and though they hope no more issues arise, they said if workers are ever needed there again they would hope it's the crew from JRW. Two small issues arose unrelated to this project (sticky door and gutter issue) and Joel took care of them for a minor charge. Most mom and pop landlords will tell you- the dreaded call from a tenant that something is broken causes you a few minutes of angst trying to figure out who to call to get it fixed. Now that I know about JRW, I won't feel that worry anymore.
