We are fortunate beyond belief to have found this incredible school. It has been the most wonderful launching pad for my little one, setting her up for a healthy, curious, kind, and loving life. I have full confidence as she enters the "big school" (Kindergarten) next week that she will be ready socially AND intellectually thanks to the loving care and attention received from the teachers and leadership at New Generation. I found this school after trying many others in the area. New Generation is both play and academically focused, always clean, and has a GORGEOUS backyard play area (I always say it feels heavenly back there). I'll never ever forget how wonderful it felt to pick my daughter up in such a safe and loving environment every day and have her run across that playground to hug me. The school is not only kid-friendly, but parent friendly. They have always been kind and supportive in a way that parents of preschoolers need... they just get it. The front office empathizes and gives of their time and attention, always making me feel safe and seen. They also throw a great party!! The Fall Festival every year is seriously so much fun - we're still planning to go as a family even after we've left! There are always holiday activities, celebrations, shows, adorable Graduations... everything is just so perfect. Most importantly, the teachers are INCREDIBLE. We had Ms. Claudia, Ms. Laura, and Ms. Favi throughout the years, three of the most lovely women, always with a focus on learning, growth, development, and kindness. The kiddos spend so much time at preschool, it has been very comforting to know it is such a wonderful environment, complete with care and attention from very involved teachers. Ms. Favi, our current teacher, truly looks at her students as if they were her own, and treats them as such. My daughter loves her so, and dreams of being a teacher one day because of how wonderfully Ms. Favi does it. It will be so hard to say goodbye to her, and there will be no shortage of tears (mom included). I highly recommend this school for your sweet little ones. It feels like family, and I will forever be grateful to have found this special home away from home during such formative years.

We just finished up and our little one is headed to Kindergarten but already talking about going back to visit her old teachers. We toured a few preschools but we didn't want a home daycare and some of the more institutionalized schools were incredibly expensive. The Learning Place was a nice in-between where it was more structured than a home daycare but less expensive than a more institutional school. At around $1,000 a month for 7am-6pm program we thought it was a great deal. The school has a nice outside playground with shade and cushioning a nice little playground. In our time there they did upgrade the playground to have shade and padding which was nice. Inside it is very clean and they separate the kids by age. There are two doors between the outside and the school so it is secure. They have an iPad check in and check out system. We chose the Learning Place because the director, Ms. Enereyda (Ms. E) is incredibly warm and friendly. I can't say enough positive things about Ms. E. We also liked that she speaks both Spanish and English and we could chat with her in Spanish. The other teachers like Ms. Veronica and Ms. Melina are incredibly warm and friendly as well. We always had very positive interactions with the teachers. We always felt that our daughter was in good hands at The Learning Place. I initially signed her up here because I was working in Glendale. After a year I began work somewhere else but kept her at Learning Place even though we lived in Sherman Oaks. We liked this place very much. Overall - - I highly recommend the Learning Place. We loved our 2 years there.

Ms. Isiris is warm, knowledgeable, and extremely passionate about early childhood education. As a teacher, I have been blown away by her program. Each day is filled with STEAM activities, music, yoga, mindfulness lessons, and more, all thoughtfully planned and tailored to the developmental levels and interests of the children. I was nervous to send my daughter to daycare, knowing how many hours of her life would be shaped by that experience, but we have been so lucky to have found a place where she is loved, engaged, and building foundational social and life skills under the guidance of amazing teachers. We love this school!

My son started when he was two years old (2024) and has been attending ever since. At the time, I was a mother of one and very anxious about our son being looked after by anyone other than family. Fortunately, they both did everything to make us feel like family for a seamless transition. It is well rounded program and incorporated into everyday tasks/activities making learning fun, while also practical. Every week is focused on different topics and the themes/events are communicated in advanced. Our son (who has known to be a picky eater from time to time) has tried new foods at daycare which is a major win. The care and attention to the kids and the program are unmatched. They take the time to communicate every part of the program (meals, weekly activities, daily highlights, and my personal favorite: pictures of their day) allowing us to have a conversation with our little one. Thanks to Dream Big Little One, we are confident our son is prepared to enter TK in the Fall. We will not be saying goodbye, more like see you later, as we definitely plan to enroll our baby into the program once, she is old enough.

They are a truly amazing preschool…read morewith excellent academic instruction, dedicated and experienced teachers, and a wonderfully supportive, loving environment. The director, Marie, has worked in childcare and preschool/kindergarten education for decades. We toured different preschools and Burbank Edu-Care stood out to us for multiple reasons. It's a small, intimate environment and the premises are beautiful. They have a garden on the preschool/kindergarten grounds and grow fruits & vegetables which they use to prepare healthy, organic lunches for the children. Lunch and potty training are both included in their very reasonable tuition fees. At other schools, lunch was a separate fee and potty training was an additional fee, or you could not enroll your child if they were not potty trained to begin with. The school has an adorable "parking" area where kids can park their tricycles and push cars in front of the school (behind a secure, gated campus). The private, high-fenced gate in front of the school ensures that strangers cannot see the children from the street and that the children are not in danger of street-based traffic. My 3-year-old child loves Ms. Marie and has so much fun learning and playing with the other children. They have plenty of opportunities for art, dance, music, and sound academic fundamentals like phonics, colors, shapes, etc. My child is completely safe at this school. I am also profoundly touched that Marie has taken a very special interest in our older, autistic child and has been so understanding of our unique childcare schedule. You can tell that she truly loves the children. For Ms. Marie, this is not just a job for her or a paycheck-this is her calling and she is uniquely gifted in her ability to connect with and lovingly care for your child. The school is fully licensed, very safe, it's small, intimate, and the kids are cared for with loving attention. Other schools for small children can feel chaotic or like your kid is a number in a larger setting, but that's not the case here. There is so much comfort in knowing that your child has found his or her community and niche. You don't have to worry about all the horror stories of inexperienced caregivers around your small child. TBH-my MIL was hesitant when I told her we would enroll our little one in preschool. She warned me that some kids find it too traumatic, and maybe she's safer at home (given what she's seen on the news, etc.). We are highly protective of our children. We feel confident we made a great decision choosing Burbank Edu-Care. Given the level of care/attention given to these children (plus potty training and healthy lunches included) -the tuition is very reasonable/affordable. If you tour and call other preschools and kindergartens that are in Burbank-Burbank Edu-Care's rates are very reasonable/affordable and they don't have the hidden fees (for lunches, potty training, additional hours for certain shifts, etc.) that some other programs charge. I highly recommend Burbank Edu-Care and am so grateful we found this amazing school! I can't gatekeep such a wonderful program when so many parents are seeking to find a safe, loving, supportive, and excellent preschool/kindergarten that builds on their child's strengths, gives them a sense of safety, care, and accomplishment, and lets them play with joy and creativity. Call Marie! She's awesome!

She greatly enjoyed her time there and as parents we were extremely happy with the school. Ms Angela who is the headmistress of the school is wonderful. She loved the kids and we used to have great conversations with her during pickups. Our daughter started right after the covid pandemic. After being cooped up at home during the pandemic she greatly enjoyed the activities at the school. She stayed there from 8.30AM to 5PM. There were special classes for Yoga, Karate and Gardening. There is a lot of space in the front yard and backyard of the school. The kids played there in the afternoon. We attended the Christmas ceremony where the kids performed songs and yoga on stage and it was awesome! However, the most important aspect of this school is hands-on training. Our daughter became quite independent after she started attending the school. She started to take care of her things such as picking up her toys, cleaning up the papers after her scissor work, and eating with her own hands. We know that Ms Angela had put in a huge amount of time and effort to encourage her to eat on her own. As parents it was a huge boon. On the teaching front also we saw huge development. The school focuses on the Montessori method of teaching. Younger kids did a lot of fun activities with drawing, singing, dancing, painting, scissor work, playing with shapes and beads. Ms Jasmine then taught them the sight words, counting to 50 and addition. It was a very smooth and easy transition for her in kindergarten. Overall, we have very fond memories of the school and the teachers and would recommend it highly to all parents in the Burbank/Glendale area.

The care, kindness, and love that she received every single day went far beyond my expectations. The staff truly treat every child like their own, always listening with patience and respect. Two people that stand out in particular are Angela, the director, whose leadership and warmth are unmatched, and Miss Anahe, my daughter's favorite teacher, who poured so much love, encouragement, and guidance into her every day. It gives me peace knowing my daughter spent her early years in an environment that not only educated her academically, but also taught her kindness, love, and how to honor God. As a parent, it makes me a little sad that my daughter has grown and now has to move on to full-time elementary school, because our experience here was truly special. This is by far one of the best schools and childcare services a family could hope for. They don't just "watch" children--they nurture them, teach them, and help them grow in the best way possible. If you are searching for a school that will give your child a strong foundation, surrounded by love and genuine care, I highly recommend Montessori Academy in Glendale. It has been a blessing to our family.
