    Deep end of the pool

My girlfriend and I are in our late 20's and wanted to swim in a pinch. Good pool. Everyone's laid back. Concession stand wasn't open or the slides but the diving board was fun.

Great swim lessons program at Burbank pool

As my kids got older and went through high school, we stopped buying the passes because they weren't interested in going to Cypress Cove on a regular basis anymore. So, I hadn't been there in years. In July 2024, my wife and I decided to entertain some younger relatives by taking them to the waterpark. Low and behold, the water was so cold that nobody could stand it. The kids' lips were BLUE, they shivered uncontrollably, and they struggled to have any fun. They didn't even want to stay after only a few minutes. You KNOW something is wrong if young kids want to quickly leave a waterpark on a beautiful, hot summer day! We asked the Cypress Cove staff about the shockingly cold water and they revealed that ever since COVID, the park stopped heating the water in order to save money. They flat out don't operate the water heating system anymore, it's been deliberately mothballed. Say what? What kind of water park doesn't heat the water? That's totally unacceptable and I've never experienced such a thing - EVER. Every water park or public pool that I've ever been to in my 50+ years of life has heated the water so that it's comfortable. My family won't even consider returning to Cypress Cove until we hear that they've resumed heating the water like normal. The only thing I can appreciate about the situation is that the Village of Woodridge, which operates Cypress Cove, is conscious of keeping its spending down for the taxpayers. But there are much more sensible things to cut from the city budget than heating the water at the town's water park. That's ridiculous.

This place is amazing! The water is warm,Life Guards Are excellent. I totally recommend.read more

We always rent a cabana during our visits. In the past, when we paid $250, we were greeted with a nice welcome: an ice bucket filled with cold bottled water and a fresh fruit plate. It was a thoughtful touch that made the cost feel justified. Unfortunately, that hospitality has completely disappeared under the new management. We arrived bright and early this morning, having skipped breakfast because we assumed the welcome amenities would still be part of the experience. On the hottest day of the year, we were shocked to find no cold water, no fruit plate, nothing. And to make matters worse, you're not allowed to bring in any outside food or drink, meaning we were stuck paying $3.99 per bottle of water. For a $250 cabana, that just feels unacceptable. To be clear, the staff was friendly and the park was clean. But the overall value has dropped significantly with the removal of these simple but important amenities. I've rented cabanas at many other water parks, and Raging Waves is now the only one that doesn't include anything extra for the price. Please do better, Raging Waves. If you're going to charge premium prices, the experience should feel like a premium one

Though there was plenty more to do. The lazy river is really big and while I went on a less busy day, the lines weren't too long and they were staffed well. Lots of unsupervised and children though. Fairly clean bathrooms and many of them. Cabanas are pricey but for a larger group they have great locations and sizes. The wave pool is small but strong. The best ride was the Mat Dash! We bought season passes after a successful visit. They only allow clear or mesh bags!!

It's worth it especially if you come often. There are plenty of seating and big umbrellas for shade. Favorite part about the pool is the adult swim time in Dolphin Cove from 11-12:30pm daily. The pool goes up to 5 feet deep and it's where we all walk in a circle creating a giant whirl pool. Sometimes I like to walk against the current for some resistance. There are also 3 lap lanes if you prefer to swim. Adult time is also at Splashdown and the pool is 12' deep. I see they provide some equipment and paddle boards too for water exercises. Ask the lifeguard office for it. When adult swim is over it's fun to see all the kids jumping in screaming, and the adults slowly making their way out. Hurricane cove is another fun area with whirl pool, gator crossing, fountains and sprayers. Nice place for all ages but it can get a little busy. The shallow end is a nice place to get your feet wet and catch some sun too. The red Sidewinder water slide is slower and curvier, which I prefer. While the yellow Pipeline slide is an enclosed speed slide. Another fun slide is The Bowl Slide. Round and round ya go than the slide drops into 8 feet of water! Diving area is at Splashdown, which drops into 12′ of water. There you will find a low dive, high dive, and drop slide. There is a concession stand for basic snacks. Pretzels, nachos, bosco sticks, ice cream, etc. They also sell sunblock if you forget yours. Bathrooms are decent with changing stalls and showers. Lockers are provided but you must bring your own lock. Plenty of free parking too!
