What a cute little hot dog cart! My husband and I went to home depot for paint, both of us were pretty hungry but had little time. Decided to grab some food from buns on the run. Good decision! I had the frito chili pie with onions, cheese, jalapenos and dour cream my husband got the polish dog. This was so good. I haven't had a frito chili boat ( thats what we called them) in years. Satisfying crunch and really filling. The lady serving was fast and friendly!

I find it gross. Last couple times the dogs were cold. Better dogs on Antelope in the Village by M & M's

Terribly limited menu,Terrible hrs of operation. Rude staff and owner. This used to be a good place. When D GLOVER owned it years ago.

We were two-wheeled pilgrims, dust-caked and hungry, and Papa Dogs Tap House and Deli was exactly the kind of gritty oasis we needed. This ain't some polished, pretentious joint. Papa Dogs has a real, lived-in feel, a kind of cute and quaint charm that still feels authentically small-town. I ordered the Albuquerque turkey, it was the perfect combo of flavors and the super cold pineapple hard cider was much appreciated. They were out of chips so I skipped on that (obviously) The folks working there? Solid. No fuss, no fake smiles, just genuinely kind and efficient. But let me tell you, the true salvation, the damn highlight of this whole pit stop, was that patio. We peeled off our helmets, stretched out, and let the Weaverville air wash over us. It's got that easygoing, unpretentious vibe that just screams "kick back." After hours of white-knuckling it through twisty mountain passes, that patio was pure, unadulterated bliss.

I've never had a hot dog with tomatoes and peppers on it before, but it was so good. The spice complimented the hot dog well. Neither of us were a fan of the potato salad but if you like a spicy potato salad, you might like it. We will definitely get a hot dog from there again though! There was a bit of a line but it went by so fast. I guess that's why they're called Fast Weenies lol. The two women working were super nice as well!

I got a Casper Dog with everything on it and a potato salad. When you state homemade for 42 years, there's no way I'm not trying it! This is where my review is going to differ from the majority that I see here and maybe I just have different tastes !!?? but I wasn't happy with the food at all. The hotdog itself had a weird consistency and the casing was strange, making a squeaky sound against my teeth when I bit down. The toppings were fine, but it was really messy and kind of offputting to have a ton of cold toppings with a lukewarm hotdog. Costco hotdogs are better in my opinion. The potato salad was OK. I can see see how people would love it and it's got a good spice to it; however, it wasn't my thing and actually left my tummy feeling a little yucky after eating everything. Great concept, but I don't think I'll be back .
