The caramelized onions and cheese on the french toast alongside the maple syrup made for a very good sweet and savoury flavour kick -- if you don't eat much, you could definitely share since I had trouble finishing it! The mochaccino was also not too sweet and had a good balance between coffee and chocolate, I could see why it was so busy on a Sunday morning so come early if you can :) There's a variety of seating (outdoor and by the fireplace as well) and the ambiance was lively.

This was a planned stop for me while in Charlottetown (I was on a trail of Canadian coffee!) and I'm glad I made it. On my first of two visits, there seemed to be a lot of cruise ship passengers, just relaxing from traipsing through Charlottetown, a really fun place to spend time. On an early spring day, the cafe mocha was welcome and the sunny seats outside were clean and comfortable. Second visit a week later, the same delicious drinks, sandwiches, breakfast plates, acai bowls and a short kids menu from which I ordered a "baby bun". Ham, cheese, sourdough? Wasted on kids, it was yum! It's rustic and welcoming, the customer service was pretty good considering all the tourists alongside me, no doubt taxing the baristas' patience! They have picnic tables, a kids menu, a bouncy pad jump area, and some goats! We didn't try any of the lobster themed dishes which turned out to be a sad decision.
