This was never a problem here. I had an adjoining room but did not know the other guest. I never once had any issues with noise from the other rooms. In fact, I was highly impressed with how little I heard while there. It felt like home from the first moment I arrived. The room was light and airy, cozy, and with the most comfortable bed you could imagine (seriously I wish I had looked to see what it was). The adjoining bathroom was the perfect size, and had a large and comfortable tub/shower combo. The bath felt luxurious and the water temp never disappointed. The kitchen was stocked with a nice selection that fit the needs of most diets for breakfast. I was worried there might not be a selection for someone limiting carbs, but there were perfect little crustless quiches available, which made my day. I appreciated that thoughtfulness and that I had access to anything I might need there. It had a full coffee bar which included breakfast and green teas. I was traveling with my adult siblings and we loved that we could meet in the evening and play games at the large dining room table off the foyer, or sit outside on one of the porches to chat and chill. There is a lovely restaurant next door called Emil's and a really interesting and delicious Celtic coffee shop a block down (try the black eye with sugar free hazelnut syrup- you won't be disappointed). All in all, we had a lovely time and I was sad to go. I've never slept quite so well before while away from home and that luxury was much appreciated. If you're coming to the area or nearby, I highly recommend making reservations here.

In 2019 there was a report of bed bugs. Nothing since maybe dead ones I don't know. I slept on top of a trillion sheets because this was ridiculous. There's holes in the door. The baseboard is peeling off underneath the sink. There are cigarette Burns all over the room and the room looks nothing like the pictures. The front door appears like it has been kicked in cuz it does not seal all the way

Jack Daniels was the first destination on our trip. As soon as we got off the plane we got food,…read morecoffee, and then got on our way to meet Jack. His distillery is about an hour and a half from Nashville. Once you're out of the city, it's a beautiful drive, but there is not much between the two. Except of course, Uncle Nearest. We'll get back to that in another review. I don't know what I was expecting, but this place definitely exceeded my expectations. They have a pretty largely laid out property. We parked across the street and a lot and had to walk over and bus back. Walking in. We were slightly early for the next tour time, so we went to there establishment aptly named Happy Hour, and pre-gamed. One thing you can learn in the lobby is that Jack Daniels was not a tall man. In fact, he was quite short, though it would seem that his presence exceeded his physical height greatly. The tour started us on a bus driving us to the top of a hill close to one of their warehouses and we walked our way down to see parts of the property before we got into some more buildings. Our guide, Danna, was excellent! A former navy instructor, she was both incredibly knowledgeable about the business and very passionate about working their and teaching the history of the distillery. On the way down we had a stop at a drink trailer. And had our tour beverages. We also got to see some of what they were doing out there making charcoal for their distilling process. As we moseyed along further, drinks in hand, we learned about the history. We passed by a really old fire brigade station. And landed in a cabin that had a lot of interesting pictures in it and quite a bit of history. I won't go word for word in my review, then you would have no reason to visit. I'll just add some tidbits as we go. Unbeknownst to myself and my companions, Uncle Nearest and Jack Daniels are very closely related. In fact, Jack's first master distiller was Nathan "Nearest" Green, and Jack Daniel distillery has continuously employed members of the nearest family ever since. Their relationship was not only unique, but that Bond has not broken since this distillery was put in place. Very cool things I did not know, and there's plenty more of that. If you go on the tour. Treat yoself to some knowledge. We then wandered through the distilling area, and barrel House. Our tour ended at The tasting area, where we got to try a number of things. Now. Jack Daniels, like Uncle nearest, is in a dry county and they can't serve things outright. So they have to come up with ways to do it and stay within the laws. So you might notice in my pictures that the tastings have just a wee bit in each glass. If you want more, you'll have to go to the bottle shop. And if you want to buy a barrel, or anything else, you have to go to the hardware shop. When you go on the tour you'll understand what that means and why it's important. At the conclusion of the tour, you can go to the happy hour bar, the bottle shop, or the hardware store. There's a shuttle to take you wherever you want to go on the property or back to your parking spot. It's a very interesting and enlightening tour. We weren't aware how much history was here and all the things we didn't know yet. Very cool tour. Highly recommend going!

I recently stayed here at the Holiday Inn for a week while on a business trip to Tullahoma…read more(Tennessee). I wanted to stay at a different hotel while on this business trip, but my employer's travel agent told me that this hotel was cheaper, and she overruled my desired location. So, this is where I stayed. Even though I never wanted to stay here, it wasn't entirely bad. However, I did find that this location had its pros and cons, at least for me. I will briefly highlight some of each. Pros: The entire hotel is clean, including the lobby, hallways and my own hotel room. This hotel is also safe, with interior hallways and card/swipe access to enter the hotel. Despite the fact that there are railroad tracks nearby, I found that this hotel was also quiet, at least during my stay. Most of the employees here are friendly and professional, especially including one older lady who checked me in and another older lady who prepared the breakfast area. My hotel room was comfortable, as was the lobby and other areas in the hotel. The breakfast was free, and it was surprisingly good, better than I expected. The coffee was off-the-charts good, with machines that had whole-bean coffee inside them, where the coffee beans were ground and your coffee was made fresh right in front of you. They had free parking, which is always appreciated. My hotel room had a mini-refrigerator, a microwave, a nice TV, and a mini-safe. And finally, the outside of this hotel is also clean and inviting, and I liked the landscaping. Cons: The hotel was apparently quite booked when I arrived, so my only option was to stay on the ground floor, near the hotel lobby, in a room equipped for a person who was handicapped. I should have had a regular room because I had a reservation well in advance. And, because of the location of my room, I had more noise in the mornings from employees preparing the breakfast, as well as from guests in the lobby. Also, because this was a room for a handicapped guest, the shower was made for easy entry. But, due to its poor fabrication, shower water did not funnel down the drain; instead, it made its way all the way down the hallway inside my room toward the bed. This water puddle was not only annoying to have to avoid, but it also created a slip hazard the entire day, every day. Also, the refillable shampoo and body wash containers in my hotel room were not adequately stocked when I arrived, so I had to ask an employee for extras of these just so I could take a shower the next morning. And, as I approached the hotel front desk to get some shampoo and body wash, I found that no one was there for literally 15 minutes. I even called out for assistance a few times and no one responded. Eventually, a young lady who was an employee came out from the back office where she was apparently talking with her friend (who did not appear to be another employee), and I thought this was incredibly unprofessional. Overall, this hotel rates as an average (3-star) rating for me due to the mixture of pros and cons. I would not go so far as to recommend that you avoid this location, but I also don't plan to stay here again the next time I'm in Tullahoma.
