"No sushi, no duck" summarizes our experience pretty well.
The place is cute, and it started raining so we didn't really think about it and sat there for lunch. Nice furniture and decor, cool background music, atmosphere was great. The place was busy, but not crowded. The staff was so overwhelmed though. The French speaking waiter was great and running around, can't say the same about everybody else...
We tried ordering the sushi. No sushi today. Ok it's Sunday, maybe that explains it. Then the bao bun with duck leg, no duck. Ok now it's frustrating.
The food:
Started with free focaccia bread, and that was the highlight of this lunch. The olive oil was also a nice touch.
We had the mussels in coconut sauce and there was no sauce. Not bad, just not good.
The bao bun with the pork (since no duck) was dry and it's a make your own bao bun situation.
The sweet potato fries were very good.
We waited for EVER to get our second drinks but the waiter made it up to be by giving me a huge pour. Appreciated that.
Overall, won't be back. read more
