It was easy to schedule appointments, especially if there is an emergency - they were always able to get me in on the same day. It was mainly for wires poking into my cheeks since your teeth move during the process so it's normal. I was able to schedule appointments at the beginning or end of the day since that worked better with my schedule. I'd go in about every 4-6 weeks each time for adjustments. The doctors and staff are all friendly and nice. For potential customers, I would avoid getting crowns prior to getting braces. Chances of needing to redo crowns are high.. at least for my own experience. When they take off your brackets or metal bands (usually on molars), they might chip your crowns with their tools. Crowns are not cheap so save yourself some money and stick with fillings until you're done with your braces if possible. Overall I'm very happy with my newly aligned teeth! These orthodontists know what they're doing and does the best job ever! Thank you! :)

Canceling an important appointment last minute over $36 without first attempting the card on file is incredibly unprofessional. Btw they can't even generate a proper statement. See screenshot.

My hygienist "calls me in" after my appointment time, which then ensures a later end to my appointment. This is highly inconvenient for my work calendar. - I also don't appreciate being called after other patients who have checked in after I have. This too happened on the last 3 cleanings I scheduled. - Joy; office manager is quite unhelpful. I shared a financial hardship and attempted to explain my concern with the necessary procedure. She was implacable and resistant to offer solutions. After realizing there would be no movement or help from the office, I moved forward with the procedure and its original cost. I paid in full that day. Imagine my surprise when the office billed me an additional $78 post visit. That was the last straw. I had already paid over $1000; of which they had itemized for me and Joy said was non-negotiable. That should have been the final bill. I have already schedule a cleaning with another practitioner. It was time to move on. But the "nickle and dime" additional bill was my limit. I had to post a review. I was a long standing client. I actually *paid* my bills in full. If this is how they have treated me, I worry for other individuals in similar or more challenging life stages. I don't expect recompense. I just hope if you have read this fully, you are aware. There are *many* other general dental practices in the area. I suggest you look elsewhere for dental care.

Mel, the girl at the front desk is very sweet and never fails to call with a reminder. They work great with our insurance company and both Dr. Kang and Dr. Nishimura are fantastic. They are absolutely great in explaining everything to you in every detail. They also have great hygienists who are patient and always try to keep you calm and collected. Our entire family goes to this clinic and we would not go anywhere else. The office is nice, there is a huge window with trees from every room, so nice environment throughout the experience. They always give you great supplies after and they work great with the insurance companies. And they have headphones available upon request as well. If you are looking for a good dental clinic, you should give this one a try. They are also conveniently located in Bellevue with ample parking.

It's just one of those visits I never look forward to... maybe years of braces left me a little traumatized, who knows. My husband also needed an appointment, but he kept saying he'd just continue seeing his previous dentist out of state. We do travel there quarterly, so it wasn't a huge deal, but I decided to call anyway. From the moment they answered the phone, I was impressed. The receptionist was warm, welcoming, and professional, which made it easy for me to go ahead and book the appointment. I received a confirmation the day before, and again, the communication was courteous and professional. I'll admit, I was still a bit hesitant, so I checked the reviews. I did notice some negative ones at first, but quickly realized those were tied to the previous dentist, not the current team. I'm so glad I gave them a chance. Dr. Chen and the entire staff were absolutely wonderful. The experience from start to finish was nothing short of excellent. I've always believed that when the first impression is strong, it reflects how much pride a business takes in both the small and big details and that definitely holds true here. - This review is for their receptionist -…read more I have been going to Bellevue Dental Care for almost 4 years now, and everything was great until now. Basically, the receptionist Holly told me that I can get a night guard and I will only need to pay $60, so I went ahead and got one. Guess what? She didn't check my pre-determination or anything at all. When I got the bill, I was surprised that I had to pay $600. I called and asked her, she said "oh, didn't we do a pre-determination?" Then I said "No, you didn't.." Then she said "oh, maybe I didn't then." She wasn't apologetic about not doing her job, and she just kept asking if I have money to pay for the night guard. Yep, all she cares about is the money. It's like she did nothing wrong and it's like she's been doing her job that she's been doing for the last N years. It is like you were served a food that's on sale, but later they told you they are using expensive material for today and you have to pay for the actual cost without using the coupon. Yep. What's upsetting is that basically she didn't care about her mistakes, but only the $$$. What's funny was that she forgot about everything when I called them several times after to change appointment, canceling appointment, etc due to this incidence and the fact that we moved. She kept asking why we're changing dentist and she acted like she's helpful. Everything about this dentist is fine, other than the fact that my fav. doc there, Dr. Wagner, has left to open his own business somewhere in Southern WA. Dr. Minnoch is fine, but he seems distant. The service there is fine, as long as you keep track of your insurance coverage. I won't stop you if you go there for convenience, but keep in mind that they'll eventually stab you in the back if you don't keep track of your own insurance coverage. I think you'd better change your dentist before that happens ^-^. There's no benefit of being a loyal customer there, so I've moved on.
