Took the whole vehicle to the shop to see if they could fix the problem, they determined, they wanted me to pull the transaxle back out and bring to them. Not only did I not feel like pulling the transaxle back out, I didn't trust they could fix the problem and I didn't want my vehicle sitting around another 4 months. I asked for a refund or even a partial refund so I could take it to another shop and they didn't refund any of my money. Don't expect any refunds if you aren't satisfied with their service and want to go somewhere else. Epic waste of time and money bringing my transaxle to this shop.

Their diagnostic approach was logical and uncovered several other legitimate issues. They even saved the replaced parts to show me the damage. Unfortunately, they were not able to identify the cause of the issue that originally brought me in. They were very fair in pricing the work that was completed and were honest when discussing additional options and recognizing the point of diminishing returns for further service. Many shops would have taken this as an opportunity to cash in. Although the original issue was not resolved, I will 100% give them another opportunity based on their candor, honesty, communication, and fairness.

I dropped my car off here for an oil change on a weekday. They had it ready in a couple hours. When I got home I realized they didn't place a reminder sticker on my windshield. I also saw that my car did not automatically reset the oil change life. I called and spoke with Brian. He was super helpful, pleasant, and knowledgeable with me. He told me to stop by the next day & they would take care of everything. Well, he sure did. They actually ran out of stickers and he gladly placed one on the windshield for me. He also reset my oil life meter. I had a couple questions about my tires and he took time out to explain what I wanted to know. I'll be taking my vehicle here from now on is an understatement!

After another auto repair shop completely screwed up my car, I brought it to Bayside after being scared to drive it all the way home from work. It was looked at the next day, and the owner sent me a video of my engine going crazy (like it was the day before too) and proof there was zero oil in the engine, and that it was seizing. They flushed it with oil for me, ran it for a while, and told me that they did what they could, but they were not sure how much damage had been done without taking apart the engine completely, but it was not good. I'm so grateful Bayside was honest with me and truly saved me from a really unsafe situation. The owner is upfront, honest, and will do anything to help you. I applied the honesty exhibited here. I've had repairs done here before, one in particular where they had to remove the dashboard to repair the display lights on the console of my 4Runner. They did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable. I tell you this to say that these folks are very honest and they will not just take your money if they can't actually do the work. I waited till the next day for the manager to tell me on the phone he is gonna pass on my car. Absolutely no reason at all. He told me because my attitude. I had no bad attitude at all. I just simply explained it needed a pcm update. He said that with my attitude knowing the car should come out perfect he can't work on it. The excuses they made for me to not work on my car was unbelievable. They pick and choose who's car they wanna work on. It was racism at its finest. This company should be shut down. It's 175 at the dealer for a pcm update and he was trying to get 300 from me. I even said I'd pay it and he still said he didnt wanna do it and argued with me over the phone. I repeat do not go here unless you want your car ruined. I'd give it zero if I could.
