I played there in a tournament. The courts have not been surfaced any time recently. They are not in good shape by any means. I have been to free public parks that have much better courts than that. I was running out of water at one point in the match. They had holders for the big gatorade jugs. However there were no gatorade jugs. So yea rationing water during a match is not a fun thing to do. Then they have these benches where both players sit on the change over. I have never actually seen this before. I am used to having two benches so each player can sit there in silence and just relax. Plus if you are hating your opponent, you really don't want to sit right next to them. This one had this huge bench for both courts next to eachother so we would have to share one bench with 4 people if playing singles. Last but not least was there club house. Everything was decent until you sat down on a couch. I am not picky by what I sit on but when one couch has a huge area of duct tape over it, it is time to get another couch. There is a reason the tourney wasn't that big. Its a crappy facility.

Lots of traffic so pay attn. I wandered around the park. There were geese everywhere. The grounds are in really good shape for things being dormant. In the spring summer and fall this place is full of color from all the plants and shrubs tht are growing. Pretty much everything is labeled as well.

A $59 application fee plus $35/month gets you a single membership. While I was most excited about the junior Olympic size outdoor saltwater pool, they have three indoor and two outdoor tennis courts, three full-sized maple basketball courts, new cardio and weight equipment, saunas and more. My only beef: the whole point of this is to swim laps. They have the pool divided between the deep end and shallow end, so you have to account for the rope when doing laps. I'd love one lane for serious swimming only. Also, if you're used to the Downtown Y (like I am) the locker room, shower, bathrooms, etc leave a little bit to be desired, but it makes up for it with the outdoor pool. I'm really excited to have this new option in my workout regimen and pleased to have a place to be in the water (and sunshine) the rest of the summer.

Coming from the Bay Area, I have seen Olympic training hot spots and top of the line clubs. OKC TTC is just a tad below the tier of those bay area clubs, but definitely has the essentials of a great club. Their club coach is roughly rated ~2200-2300 USATT rating. The players range from recreational to 1800-2000 USATT rated level players that play regularly. The atmosphere is definitely one of the best things. The people are super nice and friendly and the prices are great. There is a monthly membership for $25 for students/kids and $30 for adults. Also $3 for single time for students/kids and $5 for adults. So now that's all fine and dandy, but the BEST thing about OKC TTC? THE HOURS! They are open 4 days a week. Monday, Tuesday, and Friday from 6-9pm and on Saturday from 12pm-4pm. This is great for those of us with crazy schedules! Definitely give it a visit!

The lights didn't come on while the sun was going down so they may not work. Be cognizant of that if you plan to walk toward the evening.
