The fairways are tight and lots of high grass and woods. Pay attention to where your disc lands as it can be a tough find in some areas. The holes are all pretty short and it was pretty easy to navigate and follow the signage. This was my first time here and really enjoyed it. Took just shy of 2 hrs to play. It is free to play sort of. You have to pay 10 dollars per car with max 5 occupants to get into the park itself.

A trip to Lake Arcadia can be a modest affair, staying in the car driving through the park around sunset, maybe walking out on the dock watching the sun fade away for the day, or it can be an all day adventure with boating and picnics and barbecues. Early on in 2020 we realized we needed to renew our park pass for Lake Arcadia as we could see this may be a loooong year (boy, we were right on the money). Eighty dollars will get a vehicle in the park for a year if you are an OKC resident. Edmond residents can buy a year park pass for a 20% discount per year (about $64 dollars). This gets you unlimited entry into the park. I'd highly recommend it. I've always said one of my most favorite parts of living in Oklahoma has been the celebration in the sky at the end of daylight ringing in that night is upon us. I'm not from Oklahoma and I will say that the sunsets here are second to none. This park, especially the dock facing west next to the boat ramp is one of my most favorite places to watch the relay of the daylight sun passing into the Southern Hemisphere. Just as dusk settles in wildlife really begin to peek out from the woods. If you have kiddos and can manage to work in a drive through Arcadia at dusk, they'd love to see all the deer (definitely deer), and maybe turkeys, cranes, eagles, scissor-tailed flycatchers, and hawks that come around when most of the all-day lake goers have left for the day. Treat yourself to a sunset here and learn why it's worth every bit of $80 to get to come here as often as you want. October 2020

Beautiful landscape and thoughtfully developed areas include a pond for fishing, a pavilion for reservation, an Arboretum that was built by the Margaret Annis Boys Club, multi-use trails for walking, biking, etc, and several playgrounds. Bring water as there are not drinking fountains except at the playground. We walked a total of 1.36 miles on the trails from the dog park. Please check out my pictures, such a pretty area! Highly recommended by locals. Very clean and well taken care of!

These fields would be great for getting together with friends and playing ultimate, kickball, or soccer if they were not full of stickers that will cover your socks and shoes if you walk through them. Overall, if you need a good afternoon walk or a shaded playground for the kids, I would recommend this park.

Parking: On the south side of the park off NW Grand Blvd, before Huntington Ave. Facilities: No bathrooms. There are a few benches at various sections of the park and a 3-way water fountain, with the third fountain being close to the ground for your pet to get a drink. There are a few pedestrian bridges across the drainage ditch if you don't want to complete the entire trail and want to cross north or south. The park is separated by a drainage ditch that runs the length of the park. Specifics: This is a small, curvy walking and running path in the middle of NW Grand Blvd, across from homes in Nichols Hills, running north and south, in an almost crescent shape. The entire path is about 1.16 miles, on a concrete sidewalk through grass and trees. It's broken up in three sections by two roads that run in the middle of it, going east and west. The first section begins at Nichols Road and the concrete path is on the north side of the park until you get to Huntington Ave; where you cross a pedestrian bridge, then cross Huntington Ave, and the path continues on the south side of the park in the second section. It continues south on NW Grand Blvd until you come to the next street, Bedford Drive, and cross it to finish the third and last section of the park. You will see Nichols Hills United Methodist Church to the north east after Bedford Drive. Continue down until Sherwood Lane where the path and park end, close to apartment homes.
