We made our way to Enosburg today and had a delightful lunch at the Bumblebee Bistro. Their menu is quite large and we had trouble deciding what to order because everything sounded so good. We went with Chipotle chicken sandwiches - two thumbs up! Definitely prepared with thoughtfulness and care. The place is charming, the service was extremely friendly, and the food was delicious! They have lots of vegetarian and gluten free menu items, also. Even the lemonade was much better than the average restaurant lemonade. The bistro was very clean, as were the restrooms. I want to start with we went to the Mother's Day brunch for $32.00 a person. We had a 9:00 reservation, by 9:30 we had not received our drinks and half the food wasn't out. At 9:50, they were still missing half the things on the menu(I included a picture of the the menu and crossed out all the menu items that were NOT available) Positives: * the staff was genuinely very nice * free drinks for mothers * the Mac and cheese was very good! Negatives: * half that was advertised was not available * missing utensils in the food- customers were using the wrong utensils and cross contaminating things * no refills were offered as the staff seemed extremely overwhelmed * people had to keep requesting plates to be stocked * the food was mediocre at best * half of the items were not labeled read more

We've been to Bumblebee a few times now. The food is usually really good. There are vegetarian, vegan and gluten free options. Today my partner had the tofu quesadilla. He was asked if he wanted vegan cheese and sour cream. He said no. The dish that came was 100% vegan...which is an up charge and not what he wanted. He didn't bother bringing it up with the server. The kiddo liked the chicken quesadilla. My gluten free shrimp bowl was okay. I won't order it again though. The shrimp was overcooked. The noodles were soggy but it's hard to get gluten free noodles right. The sauce and plentiful fresh veggies offset the mediocre. Today's service was slow and we were basically ignored (no checking on us for drink refills etc) but that isn't our usual experience. Other tables were checked multiple times. The bistro itself is cute and the attached store is fun. Our experience today was not typical of our other experiences. Usually the service and food are outstanding. We will give it another try. This restaurant is a local gem. The food is made from scratch and they serve generous portions. It's a Mother/Daughter run establishment, and it's attached to a gift (Barn Owl) and candy store that supports local artists and craftspeople. What's more, this is a rare place that goes out of its way to include People with Disabilities. I am grateful for that. What more could one want? Bumblebee Bistro is a true delight. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the cafe is very cute inside. The best part is the delicious food. All four of us loved what we were served. We arrived on 6/4, if you are looking for well seasoned, good healthy options, and things you want to write home about, look elsewhere. The poutine is salty enough to give even a health nut high blood pressure. The lobster roll is not even close to lobster, unless they are using teacup lobsters. Those are crawfish tails at best and imitation lobster at worst. For $22 you might as well get lobster mac and cheese at Shaws. The only saving grace is the gift shop attached. Do not waste your money. They need to either be honest about what they are serving, or they don't know any better and the cook is lying to the owners. Either way this place needs serious help. Don't let the good reviews fool you. read more

Alot of disgruntled local businesses who can't compete has bashed this place with bad reviews. Fact is it's the Best place to eat in town, staff is friendly and food is amazing!! Ignore the gossip because they far exceed all other places in town which causes resentment but you can NEVER go wrong eating there and the barn owl is just as good, then you got the candy store with ALL of the treats your heart can desire not to mention their drinks, coffee's, Boba teas, milkshakes and smoothies. You just can't go wrong there and they are more reasonably priced than all the others in town as well. Definitely 10 stars read more

I have eaten more than once at Bumblebee Bistro and the food is FANTASTIC. Recently I had a BLT that was so full of bacon I had to use a knife and fork to cut it! Hand cut fries as well! Farm fresh ingredients and they have a good variety on their menu. You can tell they care about what they are serving. The owner and her daughters are lovely people to interact with and the service is great. It is a great little place to eat!! The building is older, but clean. It has a ton of character, but more importantly GOOD FOOD!! I would absolutely recommend trying them. I know I will definitely be back. read more

The worst service, it was slow and mindless. We had to ask for the drink menu, silverware, and they didn't clear anything between courses off. The silverware is given to you in a dirty mason jar. We were given cans of beer unopened and when asked if we wanted a glass, it was chipped and not chilled. The food isn't terrible but the service sure is. Nobody checked on us after our food came and we had to get up to get our check and boxes. It wasn't busy whatsoever. We will not be returning. I doubt this place will last. read more

I liked to try the new restaurant and we had breakfast here. We like the dairy center but my husband likes pie and we saw they had some. The building used to be a pizza place and looks good now. The pie was good and homemade my husband loved it. I had the egg benedict and it was good but I had to use the bathroom right after. In the way home I had an accident in the truck and we had to pull over and it was embarrassing. I don't know what is in the eggs but I something bad. read more

Family owned hard working mom and daughter duo have nailed it in this fine dining atmosphere. Breakfast lunch and dinner in a very welcoming friendly and clean environment. Food is fantastic, prices are perfect and staff is beyond kind. I wish I had taken pictures! I ordered the Fried Goat Cheese salad. It was absolutely delicious and beautiful presentation. My husband had the Reuben with onion rings. He said the meat was very tender and the onion rings were fantastic. Every staff member we conversed with were efficient, prompt and very pleasant. Excellent from scratch cooking. We had the Caprese sandwich with a side of mac&cheese and the smoked salmon sandwich with sweet potato fries. The caprese sandwich had a nice balance among the pesto, tomato and mozzarella. The grilled bread was the right choice for it. The salmon sandwich had a lot of salmon in a NY deli sandwich sort of way. The bread needs to be toasted to hold up. The side of mac&cheese was very tasty and was quite large for a side. Haven't had a good meal yet. The last one was a BLT, because it's hard to screw up the sandwich. However, the BLT I had was the worst ever. The bacon pieces were large, thick and piled on, 2-3 inches high. I took most of them off to eat the sandwich. The fries were not good either. Will give them one more chance. read more

Considering the location, this restaurant is better than most. I think they've done very well. I review restaurants for YouTube & discord & I am usually very particular. The staff was very kind to my family and I, despite all the other reviews. I like to treat a restaurant like I'm in someone's dining room, when you respect you are respected. The food there is not much to say other than it is spectacular. I loved my meal and so did everyone else at my table. They also serve drinks which are also very very good. I was impressed. This place is AMAZING!!! We live in Chittenden County and were in town to hike the Rail Trail. The food is top notch! The portions are huge, so we definitely took some home. Honestly, the only good thing about Bumble Bistro is the wide variety of choices (including gluten free and vegan). The family that owns it all seem like they do not want to be there. They've been known to argue with customers and always have to be right. I would rather go to a restaurant with subpar food and great service than subpar service and good food. read more

Was served baked potatoes last night at Bumblebee Bistro in place of potato skins it was a thing with 2 tables and we just sent them back and continued with the meal. When I posted on their page asking why their waitstaff and chefs were trying to argue with 2 tables about how they are potato skins and that's how they do it now since no one could answer us and their fb page posts alot. I was blocked...the place is not going to last when they have wait staff constantly arguing with customers. The owner was awesome when we met her when they first opened. Also we've been there before and it's NOT how they've ever severed them before. Avoid the short lip pierced person...she's one mean human who likes to talk crap infront of the customers about how no one knows what potato skins are...also having naked photos of women on the wall isn't very family friendly. read more

My family and I have gone to bumblebees several times at this point, trying to give them a chance. Knowing that they are a new business we have excused them needing to iron stuff out and want to support local, family run businesses as much as we can. we have dealt with poor service almost every visit, we have received food cold on more than one occasion and we have also been told 45 minutes after ordering that they have run out of what we ordered. This week we waited for over 10minutes at our table for a server to give us menus or offer us drinks, which she did only when she saw us get up to leave. We were one of three tables that night and we watched her check her phone behind the bar, rather than help us. Unfortunately that was the last straw for us. read more
