I toured four or five different daycares before coming to Kids Adventure. From the moment I visited, I felt confident that this was the right place for my daughter. The school was clean, spacious, and welcoming, with a variety of meals, a great daily schedule, and many activities designed for the children. My daughter has learned and grown so much. She has become more confident, learned to greet people, sing and dance, count, and understand so many things we ask her to do. Most importantly, she has been loved, cared for, and encouraged every day. A very special thank you to Ms. Vanessa from the Infant class. My daughter used to cry so much whenever she was away from me, but Ms. Vanessa was incredibly patient, loving, and caring. She helped her feel safe and comfortable, and that meant so much to me as a mom. I feel so happy and grateful that I chose Kids Adventure. Thank you to all the wonderful teachers for being such an important part of my daughter's early years. We will always appreciate your love and care. Our two children have been attending Arborland for about two years, and we could not be happier…read morewith our decision to enroll them. Our youngest started in the Toddler classroom with Ms. Karla, while our oldest has been in the Preschool classroom with Ms. Salzman. Watching both of them grow, develop confidence, and genuinely enjoy going to school has been incredibly rewarding and affirms our decision. As a school, Arborland is exceptionally well organized. The campus is clean, secure, and well maintained, and the staff consistently demonstrate professionalism, kindness, and a genuine commitment to the children. Our kids also participate in the extended childcare program, which has been a wonderful experience. They genuinely enjoy that time with their friends and teachers, so much so that there are days when they do not want to leave. One of the main reasons we chose Arborland was because we wanted a more structured Montessori toddler program than what we found at many other nearby schools serving children 18 months and older. Ms. Karla created exactly the environment we were hoping for. She is warm, patient, and incredibly caring, while also setting clear expectations and consistent boundaries that the children understand and respect. We truly appreciated the balance she brings to her classroom. Another aspect we especially valued was that Ms. Karla and her assistant teachers spoke Spanish with our daughter throughout the day. As parents raising bilingual children, having that support reinforced what we practice at home and has been a meaningful part of her early education. The Montessori approach has been an excellent fit for our independent, curious, and strong-willed daughter. She has now transitioned into the Preschool program, and we can already see how well prepared she is thanks to the strong foundation built in the Toddler classroom. We are incredibly grateful to Ms. Karla and her assistant teachers for giving our daughter such a positive start to her educational journey. We also appreciate Ms. Salzman and the entire Arborland team for creating an environment where both of our children continue to learn, grow, and thrive. We wholeheartedly recommend Arborland to families looking for a nurturing, structured, and high-quality Montessori education.

My oldest is now in the Primary class with Maestra Michelle and Maestra Aurora, and my second is finishing the toddler class with Ms Karla and her assistants, Ms Melissa, Ms Ally, and Ms Marissa. I randomly received personal messages from Ms Karla and Maestra Michelle about my kids' day, their accomplishments, or just something silly they did, with a picture! I cannot express how lucky we are to have teachers that genuinely love the kids so much. It has been such joy to see our kids thrive academically, socially, emotionally, and in every way! I remember when they first started school, they were little people that barely knew how to talk. Day after day, month after month, they started to put words together, making sentences, then started to tell stories about their day at school. One day they surprised me with putting away their own toy! Then another surprise, putting on their own shoes! They learned independence, and courtesy, and so much more! We are so happy that our kids are at Arborland, thriving under lots of love and care. Thank you Arborland! Especially to the teachers and staffs!!

Ms. Orozco was so patient, warm, and encouraging that she made him feel comfortable right away. Over time, we watched him slowly open up, and before long he was actually excited to go to school. He would come home talking about her and everything he was learning, and it was such a joy to see how much confidence she helped him build. She truly helped him break out of his shell, and we are amazed by how much he learned this year. Ms. Orozco is truly an exceptional teacher. My daughter had Ms. Hernandez and Ms. Tan as she entered 2nd grade, and she was also a little shy because she didn't know anyone. They were so kind and supportive and really encouraged her to make new friends and feel like she belonged. We saw such wonderful growth in her throughout the year, both emotionally and academically, and that means so much to us as parents. It was clear that they truly care about their students and want to see them succeed. We also want to thank the front office staff, who were always great and made communication easy throughout the year. They were helpful, welcoming, and always pleasant to work with. The principal is also very attentive and approachable, which made us feel even more confident in the school. Overall, we are so grateful for the love, support, and dedication shown to our children this year. It was a wonderful first year, and we truly appreciate everyone who played a part in helping our kids grow and feel happy at school. TL;DR iRemnant has a high turnover rate of teachers, lack of communication, profit-driven, early…read moreexposure to screens, and mostly worksheet-based activities. We'd been at iRemnant for 2.5 years and have seen our two children grow up here. They've had some wonderful teachers throughout the years that really loved on our children: Sunny teacher, Moon teacher, Laura teacher, Hyunjoo teacher, Kris teacher, to name a few. And a special shout out to Sunny teacher who even buys birthday presents for the kiddos out of her own pocket :`) Unfortunately, the con's outweighed the pro's for us and we moved my daughter to a different Korean Christian preschool a few months ago. And although this new school is farther and less convenient for us, we are SO happy with our decision. We didn't realize how amazing a preschool could be because we didn't know anything else, so I wanted to share my honest review with all the parents out there who want nothing but the best for our precious children. I'll start with the positives: there's a big, grassy area to play in, lots of bikes and car toys to ride outside, animals on the property, homemade Korean lunches, and many loving teachers. And we are so grateful to have met so many wonderful families at this school. Now onto the negatives... sit tight for this one. 1. There is a high turnover rate of teachers. After Sweet class for ages 2-2.5 in less than a year span, my son had FOUR teacher transitions. Some of the teachers had only stayed for a few months! What also didn't sit right with me is the director didn't even inform us one of his teachers left. She instead had another teacher cover that class and hoped we wouldn't notice? Several parents and I were very upset about that and when I addressed this with director Grace, she blamed the teacher for leaving and didn't take any responsibility for her lack of communication. We all know the reason for a high turnover rate of staff members... and frankly, I don't even blame the teachers for leaving, because they're overworked and underpaid. 2. iRemnant is very profit-oriented. While I understand that childcare is a business, it also feels like the school nickel and dimes the families every chance it gets. For example, there is a supply list for each class and some of the requests are quite ridiculous. They want each student's family to buy color card stock paper that costs $25, aluminum foil, disposable gloves, ziploc bags... things the costly tuition should cover. My husband was especially irked when they asked for ice cream donations from families... something the school can buy for literally $20 for ALL the kiddos. They also ask for mandatory "donations" for things like the Christmas performance for videography and costumes, when they literally recycle costumes every year. It's really not about the money... it's about the principle. Don't say the money you're asking for is one thing when it really isn't... there's no integrity in that and it really bums me out that a Christian preschool does this. PLEASE consider the message you're sending with your actions. 3. There is a lot of sitting down and working on worksheets after the toddler class. At age 2. I don't know about you but I really don't want my two-year-old just sitting and coloring all day. I truly believe kids learn best through play and hands-on learning. I also try to limit screen time for my kids and didn't like how they were exposed to TV before age 2: during meal time setup, worship time (all through screens), and at the end of the day. At 5 PM, they gather all the kids in one room and turn on the screen for them. My son came home talking about all these TV shows and movies he watched, so we started picking up our kids before 5 PM to avoid this. Additionally, I'm really turned off by the fact that the director asks current parents to write positive Yelp reviews once a negative one comes in. How uncomfortable for parents to be put in that position, whose children attend the school and are pressured into writing a positive review. In my book, that's completely unethical (and maybe even against Yelp regulations??). And the amazing teachers you read about in the reviews? Probably not there anymore. I REALLY hope iRemnant can turn things around and use the preschool to BLESS the children and families. How amazing it is to have the privilege of raising these little ones in their mind and character! I write this review to help parents make an informed decision for their children's preschool, and I'm also hoping this may lead to some positive changes at the school.

My daughter has been coming to this school for a year now and she has learned so much!…read more We are Latinos and not at all Korean nor do we speak it but what brought me to choose this school was how much they prioritize learning about the gospel They do worship and chapel every single day and start a new lesson every week. Also although my girl is only 3 she already is practicing writing her name and learning about so many different things. Also picking up some Korean words here and there which is amazing. She's also enjoying learning to be independent! They encourage that a lot in school which helps me here at home with how she handles tasks. She's getting such an advantage in education and not only with worksheets (which are important) but also through hands on learning and themed weeks So far she's learned about space, traveling, American and Korean culture, important American history, and so much more! Yes she's 3 and has a lot to learn but learning from this early has been so beneficial for her. They do such cute crafts for all the themed holidays which is my favorite keepsakes at home They are constantly having fun with either birthday parties or parties where the parents have the option to help with donating different foods or treats like ice cream and I don't mind donating at all she loves sharing with her class and bringing things for everyone to try She also gets a great nutrition at the school with daily fresh homemade meals and snack. She's not even picky about greens and veggies since she's been exposed and encouraged at school to try new things all the time. The teachers and staff are very kind and know my daughter very well even if they aren't in her class she knows them all by name. She's also had Christmas performances, ballet performances and they also do taekwondo but my daughter was not interested she did get a free trial though Every penny we spend here is worth it and I definitely recommend it. We know how hard work life can be being away from our kids sometimes and I completely trust them to take care of my daughter while I work. Initially, I was skeptical about in-home centers, because I feared my daughter might miss out on certain activities that a bigger site might be able to offer. My daughter is a picky eater & enjoys mostly Korean food so the fact that she can eat BETTER food at school than at home is a huge benefit. When the weather gets colder, the director starts to provide the children with soups like sullungtang to care for the health of her students. CLEANLINESS: Nothing to worry about here. The director is hypersensitive about the cleanliness of her facility as well as her students. She requests that each child leaves a number of tops and bottoms at school because they change their clothes before nap time EVERYDAY! For the convenience of the parent(s), the director does the laundry and keeps it with her. We feel bad, so we pack a change of clothes in her backpack daily. However, last year (2024-2025 school year) things changed. I first noticed there were some teachers that left from the previous school year, and some other "minor" changes. Most importantly, the teachers my child had were amazing for Kindergarten! There were truly awesome from the beginning to end. Unfortunately, the administrative staff did not provide the students with a Kindergarten picture and a class picture like the year prior. I personally feel those are important memories for the families and the children. Then as the school year went on, I noticed there were less activities than the prior year. Once the school year ended, MORE great and awesome teachers left the school!!!! I have prior experience working in education and from what I know and have seen, when there is so much teacher turnover year after year, it is because more than likely the administrative staff is not taking care of the teachers. This school has had a tremendous reputation for many many years, however it seems like things are on the decline and yet tuition is going up.

I am sharing my experience with Kiddie Academy of Buena Park because I believe parents deserve to…read moreknow how a serious incident involving my 10-month-old son was handled-- by HR and Corporate! I do want to start off by saying Ms. Karla and Mrs. Jasmine in the office as well as many of the other teachers were amazing in the almost 4 years that my other children attended. Up until my youngest son started at Kiddie Academy I loved the school, referred people to the school and spoke so highly of it but after this incident and how HR and Corporate are handling it, it's extremely unprofessional and unacceptable. On July 2, 2026, an incident occurred between my infant son and an employee. Management reviewed surveillance footage of the incident, and the employee was subsequently removed from the classroom and terminated. Based on what I witnessed myself and what was communicated to me regarding the footage, the incident involved the employee flicking my son's in the nose, smacking his arm which made him scream and cry and flicking remaining water from her hands into his face after washing her hands. I reported the matter to Community Care Licensing and the Buena Park Police Department. One of my biggest concerns has been the handling of the surveillance footage. I specifically requested that the footage be preserved because it documented what happened to my son. I was later informed that the surveillance system automatically overwrites footage after approximately four days and that the footage was no longer available. I have repeatedly asked why footage involving an incident serious enough to result in an employee's termination was not preserved, particularly after I requested that it be saved. I have not received an explanation. I have also repeatedly requested complete written documentation regarding the incident. After more than two months of requests my emails went unread and phone calls and voicemails never answered or called back. I finally emailed again stating all the violations they were violating by keeping this information from me and sure enough I received an report that was not filled out correctly. In my opinion, the report did not adequately document what management had observed on the surveillance footage. Instead of describing the specific actions involving my son, the report stated that the "employee was terminated for not follow Kiddie Academy policies and procedures" and stated nothing else. I've emailed them again asking for a corrected report and again have been left without a response! I have also raised concerns about discrepancies between what I was told occurred and information provided in connection with the Community Care Licensing investigation. I have repeatedly requested clarification regarding those discrepancies. Throughout this process, I have sent multiple emails, made phone calls, and contacted HR and corporate seeking answers and documentation concerning my own child. Many of my questions have gone unanswered, and I have experienced significant difficulty obtaining responses. What concerns me most as a parent is the lack of transparency and communication after such a serious incident involving an infant who could not speak for himself. I am sharing my personal experience and the events as they were communicated to me and documented through my communications with the HR, corporate, law enforcement, and Community Care Licensing. Parents considering this facility may want to ask specific questions about: * How long surveillance footage is retained * Under what circumstances footage involving a serious incident is preserved * How incidents involving employees are documented * What information is reported to Community Care Licensing * What documentation parents receive when an incident involves their child * How HR and corporate communicate with families after a serious incident And what are they doing to protect our children. I trusted this facility with my infant son. After what occurred, I expected transparency, accurate documentation, preservation of relevant information, and timely communication. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience. I have made numerous attempts to address these concerns privately before posting publicly. I am sharing my experience now because I believe other parents have the right to ask these questions and make informed decisions about who they trust to care for their children.
