This isn't "fine" dining, but more like upscale homemade cooking. Because of the prices and food quality I am giving it 4 stars. (Very good). This isn't a once a year or just special occasion place, it's an every other week place. Can dress casual or nice. Lounge and dining areas, but Lounge is nice. Wood fired grill. Food was just right, not charred, but had a good Smokey flavor (not overwhelming). BBQ meatball apps were great, different nightly specials. Ribs and chicken were great! Ribs fell off the bone, fat had melted away, and bbq sauce was just right. Chicken tender and juicy. Cornbread muffin tasted off the shelf but fine (nice size but need to nail the cornbread as it isn't hard and compliments bbq so well). Drinks were good and priced for 2nd's. My wife loved her Prime Rib sandwich. The popover was sweet and delicious. Great variety on the menu and service was great! Not a place you have to ask for things on the side or can you remove that. They appear to know what's important and nail those, with no negatives. Thank you for dessert (lava cake). Best way to put it, if we lived closer, I would be a regular.

It's really nice inside, but even better was the super friendly service all around! They had the smoker outside and the special was the smoked brisket sandwich. And it was two for one beers, they even split the 'two for one' between us so we could each have just one more of our own beer choice, that was awesome. We started with nachos and agreed that they were one of the best plates of nachos that we've had in awhile. A full place of meaty and cheesy chips and plenty of toppings. Hubby had the smoked brisket sandwich and said the brisket was done very good. Our son had the Lumberjack Burger that he loved, he loves anything that has maple syrup on it! It was a big burger so he took half of it home and ate it later. I had the jalapeño popper burger, I wasn't sure if the name meant that it would have deep fried jalapeños on it and I'm so glad it didn't. My burger came out with a slice of pepper Jack cheese on it that was still cold except for the edges, but they took it back and warmed it up with a torch, actually to the point of burning the cheese, weird, but even so I loved this burger! It had slices of jalapeños and plenty of cream cheese, it was very good, (it actually didn't even need the pepper Jack cheese slice and not sure where that flavor fit in) then I asked for a side of the spicy berry sauce that they serve with the wonton appetizer and it was complete!! Highly recommend that they add this to the burger, or that you request it. Enjoy!

I've heard great things about this restaurant so I finally decided to try it out after driving by…read moreand noticing it was less busy than usual. The decor is what you'd expect from a bar restaurant establishment and the menu had less options than I was expecting. There was a band playing out back and a very active pull tan crew frequenting the atm in the dining area. Despite this events, it was still early enough that the crowd wasn't very large inside the restaurant. I order a chicken wrap from the menu and my date ordered a burger. The wrap was good, despite it being nothing like the description stated on the menu. I ordered the Buffalo chicken wrap which should have allegedly had bleu cheese crumbles, guacamole, lettuce, etc. but instead I received a wrap which seemed to be a chef salad with Buffalo sauce tossed in. There was shredded cheese and bacon crumbles among the lettuce to my surprise. The fries were over cooked and tasted as if the oil was on its last fry. Our waitress was very nice when taking our order but unfortunately we did not see her again near our table, not even for refills on our beverages, until it was time to receive our bill so we were not able to address any of our concerns. It was hard to finish my spicy Buffalo wrap without a water refill! I would give this place another chance, but it'd have to be at the request of someone else to go here. With the limited menu selection and the other mishaps I don't see myself returning on my own choice.

Our waitress was very kind and attentive, exactly what I want at a local diner. I did notice my coffee cup came out dirty, which was a terrible first impression. Food was a mix. The Hangover Pancake was tasty overall, though a little on the dry side and not quite as loaded with meat as the menu description makes you expect. The blueberries inside were super sweet and fresh, which gave a nice balance to the salt from the meat. The eggs were as basic as it gets (that's what I wanted). I also tried the cinnamon roll. It was just okay because the icing was hard as a rock and the roll itself came out dry and lukewarm. That said, the prices are very fair, especially for the portions, and it's the kind of place that makes you want to come back for the atmosphere and friendly service.
