The Bull is just around the corner from the Anglican shrine in Walsingham, in a small square, framed by mediaeval houses. The pub dates back to the 1500s itself, and has a very traditional interior, subdivided into several rooms.
They serve very good pub grub at lunchtimes and evenings, as well as a good range of real ales and the usual wines and spirits. Theres a wide range of mains and traditional puddings (with custard - yay!), several options for vegetarians, and smaller meals for children. Staff are very obliging and friendly.
Serving times can be a little eclectic, so ring ahead if you're relying on them for your evening meal. Recommended. Expect to see the odd priest and church party from the neighbouring Shrine. read more
