We then had a face to face meeting three days later, and another within the next week. She was able to setup a photo shoot for the very next day to supplement some of my existing photos with additional casual photos (shout out to photographer @emilyjoangreene - she was awesome too!). And voila - we went live 24 hours later. Fast forward to 8 days later (today) and I have already received more "likes" than I had in all my previous online dating adventures. Three upcoming dates confirmed, and this is FUN, not frustrating anymore. Ladan moves at your pace, helps you showcase the best of YOU and doesn't try to make you into something that you're not, is accessible for those silly follow up questions, and basically just downright amazing. She loves what she does and it shows.

This is, literally, the reason I'm leaving this review. Ladan legitimately understands relationship context much better than most people I've talked to. She has told me what I need to hear , rather than what I *think* I want to hear and helped me handle unclear or potentially awkward situations with perfect fluidity and taken the confusion out of uncomfortable moments. Why wear things that don't fit well, you're keeping for that one time when..., or are not classics and are actually dated? When I met her for shopping, I made some quick judgements about some of the items she picked out, thinking, "I'll never wear that." But much to my surprise, those items looked great. Margo nicely pushed me out of my comfort zone/rut of wearing the same colors (hello navy and black!) or buying 3 of one item. She also taught me why some things were unflattering and how to pick things that would be, how to know which jeans would fit best, and how to accessorize. Everything was in my price range and each time we met, almost everything she picked out were items I bought. Margo is so worth your time and money!

It was time and money well spent. I went from wearing about 20% of my clothing 100% of the time (and not feeling so great in it) to 100% of my clothing 100% of the time, and feeling much more confident about how i was presenting myself. Margo was really fun to work with, and although I wasn't sure how it would be shopping with a stylist, it felt like shopping with a girlfriend who was honest, helpful, and fun to be around. I was on a budget and didn't purchase everything that we found, but she did help me find plenty of great pieces and I got an idea of what sorts of brands and styles were a good fit for me. We met three times over the course of a month or two - once for the closet audit, once for the shopping trip, and once for her to put together some outfits with what we bought (she encouraged me to take photos of the outfits, and it's been a lifesaver). She was in touch via email between and after these sessions, checking on how things were going, sending helpful links, answering my silly questions, etc. Oh, and do you get those annoying little holes in the belly area of your thin shirts? Alison took the chore of picking out a wardrobe to make me (5'1", busty and curvy) woman look and feel good about what she's putting on each day. All I have to do is look at my phone and scroll through to pick out what I'm going to wear each day. Never did Alison make me feel uncomfortable or embarrassed about myself or my choices in clothes. Alison kept me within budget and still managed to find the pieces I needed to complete more outfits than I can count and, unlike me in the dressing rooms, she never broke a sweat. She was professional and thoughtful (even thought to bring a bottle of water for me in the dressing room). She made me feel completely normal, but was never dishonest about what she thought worked. She was kind and sensitive, but always honest and respectful (and my dog loved her which always goes a long way). I would highly recommend Alison to a friend or even people I work with; she's extremely talented.

I expressed this to her and asked her to take responsibility for her failure. She reacted by having a lawyer send me a letter threatening to sue me over a tiny amount of money. Additionally, I really value that Sara pays close attention to building a cohesive wardrobe for me. He and my husband alone packed an entire home and shop within 4 days. He has an uncanny knack for knowing exactly what should stay versus go. He listens intently and then lines up perfectly with a plan. He's professional, experienced, and I would trust him with my most precious possessions. I found Steve on Yelp a few months ago when I was considering clearing out my life of everything unnecessary. The task was so daunting at the time I just could not begin. Steve left such a positive lasting impression that I programmed his number in my phone. He checked in on me off and on gently offering his support and services. We put our home on the market and it sold unexpectedly in 3 weeks. I was in shear panic and terror at the realization that 30 years of life lived in this house needed to be packed and ready to go within 1 week. My New Year's resolution this year was to start dressing better. I love the show What Not To Wear…read moreand decided to see if I could find someone to help me in the same way. I found Glenna Fashions by doing a search on google. I have never done this type of thing before so I had no idea what to expect. On my first meeting with Emily, she came to my house to help me go through my closet. She helped me get rid of some items that I probably should have donated a while ago and put together outfits with the clothes that remained. It's incredible the combination of cute outfits she came up with using the clothes I already had. She made me feel very comfortable and taught me what kinds of pieces I needed as basics in my closet. Our next visit was a shopping trip to help build my closet into a stylish wardrobe. She is WONDERFUL! Very knowledgeable about fashion. I was amazed at how quickly she was able to pick out clothes, scarves, and accessories that looked fabulous together. We had a lot of fun and I really learned a lot.
