The common point from what I could tell were that budget, work effort, and communication fell a little short. Karin worked with me on the front end, and Haim executed in an amazing way. That was my experience in the last few months. From a satisfaction point regarding this kitchen renovation it simply could not have gone any better. I will say that the details on the front end matter. We went over several iterations in the beginning. I had narrowed down to two really great contractor options. Ultimately, I went with 702R&R due to their ability to paint with lacquer and extreme attention to detail. I just felt they would do an amazing job. We worked together to build my dream kitchen. It came out even better than I had hoped. I think it is important to review your budget early. Extreme quality costs. Think "Homes on Homes" quality and worthy of HGTV results. I don't want to over promise. It is YOUR design, so you will get what you give. Haim's expertise in managing is worth his weight in gold. Ask early if at your budget level they are interested. She was ready to come out and see what could be done. At the end of the day, the originally company that had given me the estimate for the claim appeared after a month of silence, so MVB did not need to take the hit for the lowball claim amount. I came across this company as I saw they fully remodeled a home near me (that was recently sold) and their work and design looked good. So I gave them a call and Leo (estimator) was really honest and upfront about their process and more importantly gave me a good ballpark range of what I need to come in with for a full remodel. Also provided some ideas on breaking up the project in to phases (something I never thought about). There was water damage due to a water leak, and I needed the cabinet demolished, removed and replaced. I spoke with Edan Cazakov. Edan and I agreed to meet at my home on Friday, July 10, 2026 for a free estimate. He appeared as scheduled, took pictures and advised that he would discuss his findings and photos with his Contractor and contact me ASAP. On Monday, July 13, 2026, Edan texted a quote for the work needed. We agreed on the repair costs and scheduled a date for the repair. There were several delays, excuses, last minute concerns about the water filtration system that needed to be removed prior to repairs, etc. There was subsequent confusion regarding the cost of the repairs with the Contractor and miscommunication and coordination with Edan and the Contractor on the date for completing the work. It took 61 Days to complete this otherwise simple job! To be clear and fair, Edan Cazakov and the Contractor Brian Aldred are nice, good-natured people. Even the quality of the work was very good. They are just HORRIBLE at conducting business. They fail at being responsible, reliable, or dependable. Date/Time commitments are non-existent. Though I would invite Edan to Thanksgiving Dinner at my home, I would NEVER make him responsible for the Turkey!! My message to any prospective client ...
