When Barb retired, her company was apparently acquired by Howard's Pool World. Unfortunately, they have a strict policy of servicing a pool only below the water line. When some worrisome black mold appeared on the underside of the coping tiles around our pool's edge, they absolutely refused to remove or treat it. That's when and why we began searching for a new pool maintenance company. Fortunately, we found Hydra Pool Service, a small but growing company. Hydra not only agreed to maintain our entire pool, they sent TWO of their technicians out that SAME DAY to remove the worrisome mold and clean the entire pool! He was there through the entire process ensuring we had everything we needed and responding to our messages right away. Our pool supervisor changed halfway through the process but the service didn't. They told us it would be about 6 months from dig to swimming and it was done in 5.
