The quality of my business cards and flyers were very good. The young lady at the front reviewed my file before printing and suggested some changes that drastically improved the quality of my prints. BBF has potential but tends to slip on its customer service. I think the root of their poor customer service is due to a lack of qualified staff on site. The owner and his daughter are great people, who do their job well, actually really well. My client uses them for her printing needs and hasn't had an issue yet with printing times and final products as others have stated. I definitely would recommend BBF to anyone looking to save on printing cost, especially anyone with a small business. I hope they read this and work on their customer service--I promise they will see the money coming in if they do. read more

Building by Faith, more like Building by Theft. These guys are ridiculous. I originally had my business cards printed there about 1yr ago. There was a nice older woman who helped me figure out what kind of card I should get and different inks etc... She was very helpful and nice and I liked the outcome of the cards. They came on time and I had no complaints whatsoever. Then, I walk in 4 weeks ago to get 1,000 more business cards made. I was sticking w/ the original card, but needed to add some things to it. When I went in there was no more little old lady in the back by herself. Instead, the are at least five huge people standing around in a waiting area the size of a closet. I tell them what i want and they tell me ok they will be done in four business days (mind you this is Thursday so they should be done by the following Tuesday). Needless to say, they were not done the following Tuesday or the Tuesday after that or the Tuesday after that. Talk about some Tuesday heartbreak. After walking over there every other day for three weeks I start to get a little angry because all this guy is saying to me is 'you ordered blue ink, they only run blue ink on Tuesday's it's Thursday, they'll be done next Tuesday.' To which I reply, what about the 3 Tuesday's before this Tuesday coming up? Even the guys son was astounded my order had not come in (I think he know his father is incompetent and didn't place the order because when he heard I hadn't received my cards he walked away). Eventually, I tell him to give me my money back or give me the cards at cost (I use recycled vellum paper so the cost is $50+ more, according to this idiot). So, cost for 1,000 regular business cards is $60. We shook hands and he told me they would be ready on Tuesday. I went in on Tuesday and he said they'd be there tomorrow at noon. I went there Wednesday at noon and nothing. I went back at 2pm and they were finally there. Unfortunately, this scam artist put the order in as 500 business cards so that he could make money off of his mistake. The cost of 500 regular business cards is $40. I should've have received 1,000 business cards for the agreed upon price of $60. I told him to give me my $20 back or make my other 500 cards. This guy starts stammering making the most idiotic excuses. I couldn't listen to this ignorant ass anymore so I figured I'd cut my losses and never deal w/ such lying thieves again. This is why I'm agnostic because church people suck. read more

My work was late and printed wrong the first time with smudges on half and about 1/4 cropped wrong. They told me I should have provided art work with crop marks the first time, but told me they'd print it again correctly - without requesting new art work. Not surprisingly, the work was AGAIN cropped wrong, PLUS LATE AGAIN. They refused to reprint, citing lack of crop marks, but offered to trim the work to balance it. However even then the work was LATE AGAIN TWICE. Even after I called, was told it was ready, and went in, to find it not there TWICE. And I finally had to pick up my order after hours at the pizza shop next door. They are very nice, kind people, but the service was terrible on both the receiving end and waiting at the counter for over 10 minutes just to be spoken too, while multiple phone calls are fielded - and a second employee sits 10 feet behind in a chair, falling asleep. Bottom-line is I was not happy with the product, and after all the above, all they were willing to cut me in discount was $10. Not worth the time or effort. read more

Horrible awful service, needed something mounted and was told would take 2 days. 3 weeks later I am still waiting for it after hearing multiple stories of late drivers and the like. I am fairly certain my item was lost or destroyed. Makes me wait on hold for 10 minutes per call, I like supporting local businesses but never here again read more

In a panic, I came here on a Saturday morning as the print company near me failed me and they provided me with this address. I walked with the artwork and logo hoping I could format the materials needed before having them print. Seeing me distressed the lady behind the counter told me to send her everything. I sent the files on my phone and she formatted everything. Menus, hashtag signs, and other printed materials came out PERFECT! I got the materials fast and they were well done. This is my second time getting business cards from them, and they came out perfectly the way I designed them. In order to get framing on your card, you have to leave enough room/bleed for them to have space to cut/crop it easily. They direct you in how to do this. I got the 1,200 cards for $75 package...best price I've come across in the city for color, front and back cards. In addition to that, the staff were really nice and the cards were ready in 2 days. It's not the easiest place to get to, but other than that, I have no complaints at all. They are great! read more

I came into Building By faith printing or (BBF) to do some flyers for my Business coporation. Though this was my first time getting anything like this done. I will say that it was a great experience.I went into their Washington Ave location (they have two locations) and spoke to the lady behind the desk, i think her name was nandi and mandi (something like that). I explained everything to her because i had no idea if my vision was going to be able to be put into a flyer. I was starting from the bottom. I had no image, no text, no graphics...nothing... all i had was what i blueprinted in my head. The lady (i will just call her Mandi), Mandi explained to me what i have to provide in order to get the job done. All i had to come up with the words that i wanted to be on the flyer. The images weren't a problem because she said that i was going to be able to sit with the designer and come up with the logo i wanted and the pictures that represented the business well. After i had put down my deposit so that the work could be processed i was called to come in and edit the work. Being that I emailed them the text the night before I figurede that the turn around days were gonna be lesser. Like Mandi said i was able to work with the designer and come up with a logo and we went through pictures that might interest me. The designing and the rest of the work was done at their other location in Brooklyn on St. Marks. There is where i met Leslie. He was soo delightful in helping me and the other staff as well. The other location was much bigger. There were men working in the back printing, The receptionist was so pleasent and efficient. The place was soo big i couldnt help but gaze.But anyways, the designer really helped me and it worked out. It was great. AFter i proofed everything they said that it would be ready the next day in the afternoon at 4:30. The next day i couldnt make it (i got really sick) but i needed the job for the next morning. I couldnt make it down to brooklyn in order to get it to work in Long Island in the morning. I called them and i spoke to Leslie the man that was helping me and explained to him the situation.. to my suprise he said that he would drop it off to me in Queens where i live. I said no at first but he insisted that he do it. LIke he promised he showed up at my house pretty late but he came through with his words. THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!! The way that everyone there act on the same level and not above the rest it was really hard to tell who was the manager. THeir help was 5 star worthy. The name of the business is really nice. The first location on Washington ave bet st. johns and sterling is very colorful from the sign outside to the walls in side and the painting on the wall.. And st. Marks bet eastern pkwy and rockaway is really big with blue walls.. i think they told me that they just opened thisl location in the summer so things are being builded up or something like this. But the service was great and other customers laughed and smiled with Leslie as if they knew him for years. I can say they make you feel so comfortable inside .. You wont know the boss from the workers unless theres a problem. But all i have to say they got me as a customer.... and i live in Queens and work in Long Island but and now do printing business in Brooklyn.. OH and the prices are not bad at all.. top notch.. I happened upon BBF Printing by accident. I was driving on Eastern Parkway and while at the traffic light I glanced over and saw the sign for Building by Faith Printing and said one day I will give them a try. When my church needed tickets for a bus trip, I wanted to give some of our local business owners an opportunity to receive some business instead of going to other larger well-known businesses. This was without a doubt one of the best decisions I have made. I was able to do everything over the phone and via email as my work schedule is unpredictable. Within a few days, my tickets were designed and a sample of the completed job was sent to me for my approval and I couldn't have been more pleased. Everyone that saw it was impressed and couldn't believe that the job I received was done in such a quick time frame and for such a reasonable cost. Kudos to BBF Printing. Since then, I have placed another order which was just as awesome as the first project and we will be giving more business to this wonderful establishment. One of the worst companies I have ever work with. I was promised for my work to be done in 3 days, 14 days letter I only got proof back. They demanded deposit in cash and promised that the work was done. 3 month later and work not done.I personally prefer to use local companies to bring money back to community. I use DCD marketing for all my printing. I print over 30,000 circulars every 3 weeks for my store. read more
