They could have declined the appointment or reached out to say they did not want this work, and anyone would understand that. This was rude and a huge red flag about their business model. In the meantime they took him to court, as he has ignored all of it constantly and has not responded to anything they've requested and is avoiding what is owed to them. They did win in court, and are now stuck, as he will not do the right thing...just pay them what you owe and do the right thing. This is NOT how to conduct business.
