The high end department store Saks Fifth Avenue sends items here that haven't sold on their retail racks and greatly reduces them. I'll occasionally stop in here and while much here doesn't fit my liking the vast variety of items usually has me finding a bargain. I recently found a Tumi coat here for a fraction of what I would have paid for at retail. Now that we have a grandson we really enjoy finding clothing for him here. The staff here is always helpful and friendly. Today my wife and I remarked how every employee we encountered greeted us with a very cheerful hello and made sure we were finding what we were looking for.

I was caught up on my regular comic books but found a good stack of other ones I had been meaning…read moreto check out. We spent about twenty minutes choosing books and went to cash out. Went to hand over my card and without missing a beat in his phone conversation the guy says "no plastic". I'm thinking "oh wow okay contactless pay only is intense but i totally get it" and pull up my Apple pay. Still on the phone: no. Cash only. Us: wait. Really? Okay uh do you have an atm Still on phone: no. Whoever he was on the phone said something along the lines of: "you really have to start taking them" because he said "nope. Not doing it. Cash only" He wasn't wearing a mask but he was also on the phone the whole entire time so I didn't even notice until we were like "uh okay. Well bye" If you are going to only take cash and don't have an atm at least put a sign on your door saying "cash only". Most people will see it, head over to an atm, and come back to buy something. If it was ten years ago it wouldn't be a thing, but I don't think I have had cash on me in at least two years.

He keeps the store well stocked with a good variety. It's a smallish space but crammed with good stuff. The Shop They are located right on Lundy's Lane with parking in the back, its only a couple of spots but there is a shopping center across the street so there are plenty of places to park. The shop is clean and well organized so it is easy to find what you are looking for. The Selection They carry all the new pulls each week. I have never had a problem getting the new stuff when it comes out. They also have a large selection of hardcovers is that's what your looking for. On top of the comics they have all sorts of toys, statues and collectibles. The Staff The staff at Big B are great. They are very knowledgeable and eager to help. They are also very passionate about comics and can be easily lured into in-depth discussion about character or series. Also, they are always around, I have never had to go looking for someone which is really nice.
