We came here for the birthday bear and even though the store was severely understaffed, Becca had a smiling face when helping us stuff the bear. I truly think she was great, even when working under serious pressure and trying to keep up with all the customers in the store. If you know about the birthday bear, you'll know how much it'll cost. I ordered a bear online and had an amazing experience in store. Because of social distancing in the store, I had to stand in line for about 45 minutes (visited around 2pm on a Saturday). I'm not one to spend a ton of money on bears, but the experience of making them is what I'm paying for, I realize. Before my child and nephew, I could really care less, but now I realize how cool this place is. I wanted to take them on pay your age day, but that was too crazy, and I refused to let my two year old wait in a 6 hour line. They did great though and sent vouchers. I took my nephew for an Aunt/Nephew trip. He chose the tRex and had such a great time making him. He helped with my daughter's unicorn surprise as well. The teddy stuffer attendant was nice and talked to my very excited nephew. She was patient and kind to him. He loves to talk and she obliged. We didn't feel rushed and we had lots of fun. Always a fun experience for little ones , but they should honestly have someone walk you through the whole process. If you haven't been there before, it can be kind of a confusing, 'where do I go next' type deal. If you go here be prepared to spend time , this is not a walk in, get out type things. A visit to the mall is never complete without visiting Build A Bear. My daughter loves this place. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Its refreshing walking into a place of business where everyone seems to love there job. They are always busy but that seems to never detour the staff from greeting you or making sure that you never have to badger someone to help you. The great service doesn't stop after your purchase, you can bring your bear back at any time to have more stuffing put in at no charge. My first order is the Halloween Stitch. When I received it it did not have the sound inside or the Halloween outfit. The certificate also was completely incorrect because the item belonged to another person. When I called regarding the issue I was told that the sound I wanted is not available and my only option is a refund on the sound. I visited the Build A Bear store on Valentine's Day with my friend and our 2.5 year olds. We were so excited to surprise them with the amazing experience of choosing, customizing and dressing their own personal furry friend. Unfortunately, we encountered not one but TWO very rude employees who seems to maybe be overworked and cranky. It was a pretty busy day, the line was long but we were happy to wait. After about 30 mins we were next to see Kathryn, who was stuffing the bears. She was mean to my daughter and skipped us in line by telling me that she couldn't attend to us because I was with a friend. Shortly after when it was time to check out, we met Zachary who was short in his responses to every questions and not very friendly. It feels like a slap in the face after my friend and I spent over $65 each in this store just to feel disrespected by the staff. Overall we achieved our goal and our little ones left happy, but my hope is for something to be done in that store in regards to customer service. It makes a world of a difference! read more

We went to a 6 year olds birthday party here and the staff deserves an award. It takes a special kind of person to have a bunch of screaming kids running amuck throughout the store, and the entire staff was super friendly and nice and helpful. They explained everything to us and the kids, helped us make the best selections and have the patience of saints. the selection of animals and clothes was surprisingly large, and the prices weren't ridiculous. Fantastic Build-A-Bear Workshop!! I was at the Mall Of Georgia for my birthday and I wanted to stop by Build-A-Bear. When I went in I was so happy!! The service was outstanding. We needed help finding a bear and the staff helped us get a perfect one. After building it the staff lead us through the heart ceremony and they did such a great job! Thankfully this Workshop has a cleaning station! (not to knock down B-A-B @ North Point but they don't) At the cleaning station you can brush your bear to get off all the extra stuffing that is not in the Bear. The clothing section was great! So many choices to choose from. Also they have a great sale section. So overall I say that Build-A-Bear at the Mall of GA is a awesome place to go to to have lots of fun!! read more

My child would go to Build A Bear every time we go to the mall if it was up to him. Being it was a Saturday it was a little busy as to be expected the staff is always very friendly and willing to help and explain how to use the services for the bears. The staff working today 9/13/18 at 4pm were so friendly and helpful, and made my son feel special even though they were clearly very busy on a weekday afternoon. They made his 5th birthday one to remember! He liked receiving the sticker and birthday cake accessory, and the attention through each step. The store was bright, clean and organized. We bought my daughter a Reindeer just before Christmas to give her as a present. When she opened it Christmas morning the leg had a huge rip along where it met the body (it had not been out of the box since we picked it up). I went to the store and their solution was to re-stitch the leg. The issue was that the stitching of the leg is the wrong color and clearly now visible all around the leg, the animal looks damaged. I paid full price for a new item, which was defective and rather than make a new one they fixed the one I had in way that made it look used and damaged as a brand new item. Plus the stitching is already loosening again and we are going to have to go back again. This store is an hour and half from our home, and it is quite frustrating to have to keep going to get it repaired when we bought it roughly three weeks ago and she hasn't even really been able to play with it yet. I have contacted their corporate customer service several times and never been contacted back by them. Additionally, you cannot call and talk to somebody as they have completely went out from that and went to an email only system. Again, this change would not be an issue if they responded to contact. read more
